Welcome To The Kingdom! Read This First!
We haven't used this account in a few years but thought it would be a good idea to make an 'official' post for the community. To give you guys a bit of background and some features of posting to the Kingdom Bible community here on chain.
What is The Kingdom Bible Community?
We're a group of Christians on the blockchain that had an idea to fire up a weekly #bible study community. And while that hasn't been the focus over the past few years, it's still a fairly active community on chain. In fact, out of all the #christian communities on Hive, we are one of the more active ones.
But still....We need to grow :)
What denomination are you?
There's actually a few of us that started this, but overall we come from a diverse background of faith communities. And we think this adds to the potential of the Kingdom! If you want to know what denomination each of us are, ask away :)
What is the purpose of this community?
To share the good news of Christ!
The blockchain community and #web3 as a whole seems to lack exposure to truth. (John 14:6) And that's what the Kingdom is always designed to do. Share the good news, share our faith and break bread with fellow believers in a web 3 environment!
What can we expect when we post to this community?
I'm going to take the reigns here and let you know what I will do personally (@jongolson)
When you post to the Kingdom community, I will upvote your content (given that it's of good quality of course!) While my upvote isn't what it used to be, I have made the commitment to build back my Hive power. Slowly, those votes will be worth much more.
If you use the #bbh tag as the first few tags in your blog post, I will also upvote you in the BBH community. Which means, extra rewward for anyone posting here.
Can anyone post here?
Want to know the best part of the good news? Anyone can receive it. So what kind of Christians would we be if we didn't welcome everyone? And that includes people from all faiths including those even without faith.
Hey we may not agree with other, but truth can always be challenged. And its got nothing to hide behind close examination. So please do come and post, questions and topics from all are MORE than welcomed...They are encouraged!

Share our Savior! Talk about the good news! And grow the Kingdom into the largest #web3 Christian community online!

What will you do with the rewards from this account?
We will set it to to 50/50, so the Hive Power will remain to upvote and support the community. But we discussed sending the liquid rewards to a charity of everyone's choice with receipts and everything. Or we can power it all up and support the creators. It'll be up to everyone, how we will handle it.
Note: I am going to post this blog and then pin it to the top of the community. We want to welcome everyone with open arms and also keep these links and information ready for quick reference.
