How I miss my old community bookstore. I remember the store having a bi-weekly book reading by an original author, guest reader, a local musician or even the bookstore owner. I loved the atmosphere. Coffee and teas was served with baked goods, and donations by patrons covered the cost of the drinks and food.
I am so disappointed that this bookstore went bankrupt from the mandated Covid closures.
