Hive Multi Staker (HMS) Temporary Service

HMS Intro

I use the HMS (Hive Multi Staker) service from @bambukah almost every day. Because I find it a very quick way to claim unpaid rewards. And irreplaceable for unstaking all the Hive Tokens that I don't want to invest in for staking dividends.

Last week, while on vacation, I noticed that the HiveLive site that hosts HMS is down. And I also saw that @bambukah's most recent post is about his health problems. So if anyone knows Florent personally, please pass on my wishes for a speedy recovery.

I wanted to provide a temporary replacement service for HMS. But I anticipated work beyond my mobile phone's capabilities. And so I waited until my return to implement my Hive Multi Staker (HMS) Temporary Service. Though I could easily have done it on my mobile. If only I had taken a moment to think about what is involved.

HMS Temporary Service

The Hive Multi Staker repository is a self-contained app. So all I had to do was import it into my own repository. Then I deployed it to Cloudflare Pages.

Of course, I was tempted to incorporate it into one of my Hive projects. And even more tempted to stick adverts on it for some income that I could pass on to Florent. But HMS is not my project. So I will keep it as is. A simple replacement service that I could and should have done last week.

If you are unfamiliar with HMS, please read Multi Staker Update. However, I feel that the app is very easy to use. Needing no explanation beyond the screen prompts.

HMS Next Steps

If you miss being able to use other services on HiveLive, please let me know. Then I will look to see if it is something I can provide pending the reactivation of the HiveLive site.

Also, let me know if you have any problems using my Cloudflare deployment. Because I've tested it with Android Chrome using Hivesigner, the Android Hive Keychain app, and desktop Chrome with the Keychain extension. But other setups need checking.

Once HiveLive is back up and running, I will redirect my temporary service to the official site.
