En el béisbol de las ligas mayores se habla de la mitad del calendario, cuando se llega al clásico de las estrellas, pero la realidad es que cuando llega el mes de julio, ya todos los equipos que integran la MLB cumplen los 81 juegos realizados, lo que representa la mitad exacta de los juegos que se llevan a cabo a lo largo de la ronda regular, parece mentira, pero ya estamos cumpliendo ese 50%, algunos equipos lucen sólidos y con todo el material para llegar a los juegos de la postemporada, por eso quise hacer esta publicación, en donde haremos el ejercicio de imaginar que pasaría que el día de hoy se diera por culminada la zafra regular de este 2025, en el este de la liga Americana, los Yankees de New York, siguen viviendo de la renta, es decir, de todos esos compromisos que lograron ganar en los dos primeros meses de esta temporada, pero Tampa y Toronto le pisan los talones, el pitcheo de los neoyorquinos se vino a menos, y ni hablar de la poco ofensiva que están exhibiendo, mientras que los Azulejos y los Rays siguen ajustando sus `piezas y las cosas les están saliendo mucho mejor que los Yankees, creo que los de New York, hubiesen deseado que esta zafra llegase al final el día hoy, pero la realidad es otra.
