Plan Your Week!

I guess it's no secret....

I'm really trying to get back into creating content every day on chain!

If you listen to the masses, you'll hear things like "AI is going to make content creation obsolete" or "There's no future in becoming a content creator in these times".

Thankfully, I rarely listen to the experts and have a proven track record of failures lol So, I'm going against the grain and doing what I love. And that is writing blog posts.

I've been doing it for decades now, and even had a book published from my old blog. Honest to goodness, look it up ;)

And because of my new found passion and love of writing, I need to plan my attack each and every week. I don't know about you, but one thing I hate with a passion is sitting down, pulling up to my computer and then....Drawing blanks!

Writer's block is what the cool kids used to call it!

So I'm going to share with you a strategy that worked for me since I began writing daily blogs, and have followed it when I came to the blockchain as well years ago.

And this isn't rocket science by any stretch of the imagination. Far from it.

It's simply, planning your week! And in my case, it's not with digital devices, computer apps that plan your week, or anything like that. For me, it's a tried and tested method of...

Pen to paper!

And here's the paper...

Note: Feel free to right click and download this image, or any weekly schedule. Print it and fill it out for the entire month!

So the cat is out of the bag if you read that about 'note' but it's pretty straight forward. You write what you plan on talking about, or what kind of content you wish to produce, every day for each week.

I personally want to build back my pattern and I'll show it below in an example of what I would do...

So here would be an example of the week I have planned...

Sunday - I'm getting into the habit of reviewing bibles for my YouTube channel. So I will also upload them to 3SPEAK and get them on chain.

Monday - My new #bible911 series is taking up a lot of my content, which is a tip for anyone right there...Find a 'series' that you can bang out content for. Multiple topics, multiple days. I'm following a pattern for my new series that gives me ideas for content every day.

Tuesday - I plan on focusing on giving readers some useful content that can help them on their journey here on chain. Just my ideas on strategies I have used over the years.

Wednesday - Thoughts about #web3 and what's going on with the blockchain. But mostly this will be a spot where I rave about the apps I love here. Like @snapie lol

Thursday - Back to #bible911 content. See ho that works when you develop a series? You can always find something to write about then!

Friday - I'm a Sabbath keeping Christian, so from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday, I'm hanging out with my family, reading Scripture, going to church and loving my God!

Saturday (night) - I'm back to start the new week with a #myhivegoals blog post. Which I have been doing for years here on chain. Chronicling my journey on chain and my growth with Hive and LEO.

And that's my week :)

Once I'm done with my series, I can find something else to write about and just plug that in. But following a schedule, you will never run out of content to create and you'll always have something new to share :)

Hope this helps you on your journey!

I think it is so easy to get lost in the noise, but focusing on what you enjoy is key.

It's much easier when things are organized, and I agree that a schedule really helps. I should think about making one and seeing how things go.
