#MyHiveGoals - Rough Week, Good Week?

This time last week, I got home from 6 days on the road.

I was pretty excited about being home and figured I'd be able to get a lot of content created on chain. It's amazing though, that I found more time to write while on the road compared to being at home. I had some stuff at work I had to deal with and of course family obligations really took me away from chain.

So much so that this is my first blog post in.....Over 3 days lol

O.K., it's not that long....But overall with my time on the blockchain, I usually get about 6-7 posts done every week.

No excuses though, it's life. It happens. And that just means, by God's grace, I'll have another 7 days on chain now to crush it.

I know the price of the tokens is meh, and people are really in the dumps when it comes to their general feeling around the chain...But to me, this is the time to create. Remember, when things aren't 'sexy' there are less people creating. Which means it's easier for you to stick out, and on paper, should attract more eye balls to your content.

On paper that is lol

You can't control the markets. You can't control how the chain is managed. You can't control who comes by and gives you a comment or two.

All you can do, is control the effort you put out there.

And to me, that's all we'd ever want to be able to control :)

Let's see how the past 7 days on chain went for yours truly....

25,000 Hive Power

I'm pretty happy with how much Hive I've ben accumulating....

25,000 - 16,650 = 8,350 left to go

There is absolutely no way on earth I would power Hive down these days and cash out. Far from it. Now is the time I think is perfect to accumulate it. And while I'm not opening up the Brinks truck to buy Hive (well I can't I'm broke lol) I can create and power as much of it up as possible.

Which I've been doing...

Case in point, my K/E ratio went from 6.27 last week, all the way down to 5.77. And that means I should be sub 5.00 in the next few weeks if things stay the same on my end. Maybe that makes the whales happy, maybe it doesn't lol I just love the idea of tracking my way back up the ranks of Hive Power holders.

My strategy going forward doesn't really change...

• I'm setting my rewards to 100% Hive Power

• I'm sending 3% as beneficiary reward to @commentrewarder to help support the community

All that and.....Grinding out content and curation :)

LEO Power

Still generating LEO from my delegation to @leo.voter as well as creating through the front end. It's most definitely not stacking like I had always hoped, but I get why it's so low.

I don't really have a goal per se with LEO these days other than hoping and praying my stubbornness over the years will one day pay off. lol I'm gracefully bowing out of SURGE though, I have to feed my family, and that ended up being one of the toughest investments decisions I've ever made. But alas, I own it. It's my own fault for thinking it was something it was not.

So I'll keep stacking LEO for as long as I can, and keep creating on Hive. To be honest, that's all I can do these days. No more investing for this guy, just investment in time. Because the crypto markets have really hurt me over the years and I'm pretty much done as thinking this stuff has a future as an investment.

Instead, it's a home for my #web3 content. It's a great community. And if I end up earning a few bucks a long the way. Perfect :)

That's the mentality, and I think if we all have that....We'll enjoy out time here much more! I hope you crush your goals this week and have a fantastic 7 days on chain!
