#MyHiveGoals - Project Jongo

Oh boy, here we go....

I think what I love most about my Saturday night blog posts is that I kind of treat them like therapy.

Huh? Let me explain....

For one, it allows me to highlight and showcase the projects I really enjoy on chain along with my journey in each of them. Plans change, but overall during the past few years it's been these three - Hive, LEO and BBHO

I'm way too broke to dive into anything else lol

But also, it allows me to share with you guys my struggles and my wins long the way. I never want to come across as 'super bullish' or super depressed about things either. I just want to share with you what it's like for a dude who loves the promise of the blockchain, navigate life and the journey on chain.

Obviously, there are wins and losses along the way. And I think one of the blessings in disguise for me is that....I've powered down everything I really can because selling at these super low prices almost seems criminal. So I'm much more focused on re-building my Hive stacks and finding new ways to do it.

One of those ways, I'll explain later :)

But for now....It's a grind! The new war in Iran isn't helping out where I live either....Gas prices have soared and as someone who drives a truck for a living...That hurts my main source of income. So this should be an interesting few weeks ahead...

I no longer have a plan B. My plan B was always LEO and Hive. But alas....Now I have to grind and hope this recover.

There's always opportunity here, sometimes I just need to remind myself of that....

25,000 Hive Power

Like I mentioned above, I have nothing left to power down to buy Hive, so the grind back to 25k will be slower now than it's been...

25,000 - 17,640 = 7,360 left to go

This hurts because I was adding over a 1000 Hive Power every few weeks to my totals. I could only add 200 last week. This also drastically slowed down my k/e ratio improvement. I was sitting at 5.51 and only managed to get it down to 5.46 this week. Wow, what I would do for an extra hundred bucks or so on this blockchain every few weeks...I would be powering this stuff up left, right and center.

But alas...I'm still growing back the account, so that's always a win no matter what!

Keep reading, because I have a plan that I'm going to test out again.....

100 BBHO Per Upvote

I guess full disclosure for this goal was that I was only back to about 96% voting mana on BBHO. So while I wasn't at a full 100% I can still tell that I actually went backwards in this goal. Last week I was dishing out about 67 BBHO with a full upvote, but I just checked and I'm at around 63. Which even if I was at full power, it might have been max 65.

Part of this I'm ure has to do with more BBHO being out there for inflation, so rewards are dropping without sizeable investing. So I might do that a bit more this coming week, taking my rewards from my creation and curating on BBHO and powdering the bulk of it up.

I do take BBHO that I earn and transfer it to Hive....And the reason why will make sense in a bit...Keep reading :)

LEO Power

Still holding my 50,000 LEO Power and thinking of some ways to generate liquid LEO. I might start delegating it again to curation projects for the community. I honestly dont want to touch those 50,000 LEO. I always thought that could be my retirement, because I was so bullish and supportive of the community. Like I said, seems foolish to sell with the prices so low.

And I'm still delegating to @leo.voter as well, as that helps generate LEO that I swap for Hive for my new 'project'...

And if you have read this far, here's what I plan on doing going forward.

Project Jongo

A few years ago, I used to do a Wednesday Q&A session with members of the community. I was a ton of fun. I'd ask them to give me their thoughts, ideas and concerns about the blockchain and I'd go through their comments one by one.

I uploaded the videos to 3speak and really helped drive engagement to my blog. I loved every minute of it. I also rewarded the people that asked legit questions and left great comments with upvotes and @steembasicincome tokens. I got to meet the creator of this project way back on Steem and he's been one of the more solid dudes I've ever met here. Plus the project to me, is great....A way to support creators on chain and people that actively use the blockchain.

Now this isn't without controversy, and honestly I hope the Hive Police haven't driven away supporters of HSBI, because God knows, the last thing Hive needs is reasons to scare people away. And I have nothing to lose so lol

I'll be rewarding people that leave comments on my #MyHiveGoals blog posts each week with some HSBI shares and of course, up votes :)

Only thing I ask is that the comment isn't...'Dear sir, great point!'

O.k., that's the plan going forward....I hope it adds some juice to these posts each week :)
