#MyHIVEGoals - Am I Comfy Yet?
Comfort.....
I remember when I first started trying to build businesses online. I actually had a sit down with my Dad who while not an entrepreneur, was in the business world for decades. I shared with him my dreams, my vision and my plans to create something out of nothing and he actually signed off on it lol
He challenged me with situations that might arise in the world of business and prepared me for quite a lot of the peaks and valleys I experienced. I am grateful for the advice he gave me all those years ago. But there is one thing he told me that has stuck with me for all this time.
"Never get too comfortable! If you get comfy, change won't happen. And when you don't change according to the markets, you will be left behind."

Seriously though, this is the advice I THOUGHT I followed up until...The day I didn't follow it lol I got way too comfy in my business. I began to think I was the king of the world and I knew everything there was to know about business. Reality is a GREAT teacher. So after my crash and burn in 2017, I decided to never get too 'comfy'.
And that's why when it comes to my crypto journey, I'm never sticking to my guns. Meaning, I'm not married to anything in this industry anymore. Because I have seen what happens when you go all in on something. It usually backfires. So that's why when it comes to these Hive Goals posts that I make, things change for me...Almost weekly.
I still have my main goal and that's getting back some Hive Power. But overall, I'm not trying to set targets that I know might not be a priority for me personally in a year from now. Instead...I'm just enjoying the ride!
My goals are losely....
Get Hive Power. Get LEO Power. And curate and build the BBHO token.
But other than that...Meh. If I get fired up for something, I'll ride with it. If life happens, I'll ride with it.
So for now, this is my plan...
25,000 Hive Power
I've been saying for a while now that my bank has run dry....Well it's official official now lol. All I have to my name when it comes to this crypto stuff is....17,440 Hive and 50,000 LEO. Everything else is....Yeah lol
So the grind back up to respectability has begun and as it's Hive Power Up Day today, I managed over 250 HP for a boost...
25,000 - 17,440 = 7,560 left to go
I have to be honest with you, it's a bit disheartening seeing rewards of 3 bucks for blog posts that I put time and effort into but...And this is a big but....I'm still excited to create here. Even if the rewards are super low these days, I'm still managing to add a few hundred Hive to my totals each week. So the grind is slower than I expected but it's still rewarding as an experience.
I lowered my k/e ratio from to 5.77 to 5.51 as well. We're getting closer to 5.00!

I figured I'd bring this goal back!
Even though I haven't been talking about my BBHO goals for a few months, I never left the project. In fact, I've been curating as much as I can on it. And being the top token holder of BBHO, I'm trying to spread the token out as much as I can so....

Right now I'm dishing out over 67 BBHO on a 100% upvote. So there's quite a bit I need to build on to get this up over 100 BBHO per vote. But it's still my new goal.
LEO Power
I finished my power down with LEO and am sitting on 50,000 LEO Power. Honestly, it's like Hive for me now....Way too cheap to sell off any more. And while I still love everything that is being build on the platform, I want to make sure I have exposure to the project. I don't think I can really grow my account holding now there much just because I'm broke lol
The game plan is still creating on InLeo, and delegating to @leo.voter to support the LEO community!
I hope you guys have a great week on chain! I'm heading up to northern Alberta tomorrow for work. And I'll actually be driving my own truck. Which means I'll be able to stop in more places and take some photos. Should be a fun few days in the province.

It's too bad your extra funds has run out, but you are getting closer to that 5 KE ratio. The price of Hive hasn't been the greatest, and I think some changes need to occur before it can recover. Let's see where things go, and I think its just a good idea to build for now.
Your dad's advice about not getting too comfortable is totally right. It is something we all should remember. Good luck with your Hive Power goals ;)
You should always have a plan B, C, and even D when it comes to business or investment.
hey, that’s a really relatable story about getting stuck in a rut. it's funny how even good advice can get buried when you become too settled, i totally understand wanting to just maintain what you’ve built!

Another great tip, because the project change so fast, new ones rise faster, it's risky to place all your chips in one project, but some of us are doing that with hive lol.
About business, hive and rewards being low, have you thought of using hive as a business too? Because it's like any other social media, you could use it as a marketing tool, right? I was thinking about it these days... Don't matter to much the price if we think about the ability to post and interact, what matter is if the transactions are being checked or not...
