Highway 43 In Winter...
(Edited)

I have driven this highway so many times over the years....
But never during a massive snow storm with the road basically covered in snow and ice.
Today by the grace of God, I got home safely and recorded some short clips during the trip. A drive that usually takes about 5 hours for me, took almost 8.
Plenty of cars in the ditch, numerous accidents, it was just awful....But alas, if you drove slowly and safely, it was a winter wonderland of sorts.
Hope you enjoy the clips I took and the pics I snapped alng Highway 43 in Alberta, Canada

Your video show the beauty and difficulties of driving in those situations. Glad to see you got home safely!
thanks. yeah it was scary at times
I don't blame you. Stay safe, and I glad you managed to pass all that snow.
Crazy weather. I’ve never driven through a storm that long.
A landscape as beautiful as it is dangerous.
in summer its majestic
Driving on a road like that is terrifying. Better to stay warm and cozy at home.
If I don't work, my family doesn't eat. So yeah, while I'd love to stay at home...My job requires me to be on the road.
The snow is all over the place, keep safe!
it was quite the drive
The snowstorm there is very heavy
very much so
Hey, the trucks that pass you, at least you know they're saying "sOrry".
Ok, that was too hard to resist 😉, but in all seriousness, that was stressful to watch, the cars overturned is just crazy. Stay safe.
it’s a miracle i didn’t end up in the ditch multiple times lol
