RE: 3 reasons why EVs look so ugly. Also valid for the newly unveiled Ferrari Luce, a 600K EV sports car?

😮 Oh my goodness, I just happened to see social media explode yesterday with dozens, maybe hundreds, of comments protesting and expressing discontent over the appearance of this model... Personally, I've always seen Ferrari and its cars as a factory of automotive art, very difficult to imitate. But ever since 2022, with the appearance of the "Purebred" model, considered by some to be almost "sacrilegious," I was certain that Ferrari would end up doing something like the "Luce" and messing up a lot of things... Unfortunately for purists (among whom I include myself, despite being very far from being able to own a Ferrari or anything similar 😂), this might be something Ferrari has to do to survive in such a changing world full of unpredictable and very complex markets... Excellent article, thanks for sharing...

Yeah interesting, the Luce goes even further in the Ferrari Purosangue direction, but I'm not sure whether they will succeed with the minimalistic, Asian-inspired design. I would rather have a second traditional looking Ferrari EV car in the lineup and then they could see which design goes better.
I also thought of something like that, keeping that typical Ferrari artistic design (it's not without reason that Italians refer to Ferrari cars as "La Ferrari," the feminine form, as some even resemble sensual sculptures) and using electric motors; that way they might have largely avoided the problem I think this "Luce" model will bring them... It will be interesting to see all the consequences. For now, the statements from former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo were truly explosive... And needless to say, the stock market crash... As they say here in my country: "The sun will rise, we shall see"
