Short, Sweet, 2025

I almost didn’t do this, but I’m so glad I remembered to do so. What can I even say is the essence of this post? An appreciation or what exactly? Lol.

I’ll make it short because I have to be somewhere else in a few minutes, but how can I end the year without tracing my way back home. Because yeah, it can be a lot sometimes, but Hive remains my home.

Hive reminds me of family. You know how you are with your siblings or maybe parents. You share the best moments, and sometimes they could get you so royally furious, you’re almost sure you can never come back from the hurt, let alone forgive them. But somehow, you still end up doing it, unconsciously and without even knowing because you just can’t hold a grudge for long with blood, can you?

That’s how this place feels for me. Through it all, no matter how long I tarry, no matter how much distance ensues, I’ll ALWAYS be back. Right where I started to my safe space that has always been an emotional outlet and a mini-kind of e-diary.

I did say that this post won’t be long, and I meant it. But I won’t go without first off, telling my Best, @wongi thank you for the umpteenth time for introducing me to Hive. You saved me that day, Best. In more ways than one. I’ll always be grateful, and I know that we'll have tons to rejoice about in 2026.🥹❤️

To @deraaa, my lovely woman who turned Hive from a house to a home for me. We’ve been through it all together, haven’t we, love? And no matter how far we stray, we always come back. To ourselves and to Hive. I can’t wait to see what 2026 holds for us.🥰🖤

And finally to my sister, @nhaji01. You’ve become my home away from home, and I’ll always be grateful to whatever unlikely means that turned you from being “that pretty Ghanaian girl on Hive” to one of the most important people in my life. 2026 is our year, babes. We’re travelling the whole world!🤭🩷

I’m so grateful to everyone who made my Hive year the bliss that it was at some point or the other. May 2026 be good to all of us. Thank you for everything. The memories, the laughs and even the tears. You all rock!
