I totally agree with you! The truth is, Solo Leveling was one of those surprises I didn't know I needed until I started watching it. I really agree with the comparison to SAO because of the whole system interface and stats thing, but I feel like the vibe here is much darker and more satisfying to watch, especially because of how Jinwoo has to work his way up from the bottom.

You're absolutely right about the leap in quality in the second season; if the first season was already good thanks to A-1 Pictures, in the second season you could see they put much more care into the fluidity of the fights and the shadow effects (which are the best part of the series). Let's keep our fingers crossed that they confirm a third season soon, because with that ending, the story is practically begging to continue!
