Shadow Walk In The Morning Sun: Shadow Hunters Community Contest - SMASH Round #431
Hello friends on Hive! How are you doing today? Trust that all is amazingly great with you. Welcome to another beautiful midweek, the last Wednesday of the month of June and halfway to the weekend. Welcome to my blog!

This morning I noticed an unusual pain in my knee joint, which I supposed is an indication that something isn't right inside. This prompted me to reflect on how I had gotten involved in real physical exercise lately. The answer wasn't far fetched. Apart from the little walk I do around my office, I had not done any serious walk this past weeks.
So, I decided to use a stone and kill two birds; take a long walk and hunt for some shadows at the same time, lol. After getting ready for work, instead of taking a ride from home, I decided to do a 20 minutes walk to the bus stop. That is about 2000 steps. Before I could even get to the bus stop, I got a huge relief.


To be honest, sedentary lifestyle is the major cause of arthritis and some other pains people experience these days. Reason one really have to pay attention to body prompts. Also to be intentional about one's lifestyle and take precautionary measures instead of taking pills for every pain.
A simple walk could do the magic.
So, while I was doing my walk with ease, I was also taking some shots for my post and at the same time enjoying the benefits that came from the morning sun. Maybe I should even say I used a stone to kill three birds, hahaha.

I suffer from chronic knee pain. It's a genetic disorder, but it was only picked up when I had an accident and dislocated it a few years ago. Walking is such a blessing! And so healing as well! We could all use a little more vitamin D! It's natural, AND it's good for your bones and joints as it helps your body to absorb calcium, combat depression, and many other properties. That's a lot of birds by my count :p😀
