My One Stop APP And How It Affects Me

The other day I got a notification on my phone (that's the device I often use) that there are some APPs in my phone that I'd not used for the past one month, that I should uninstall them, for want of space. After viewing the APPs I deleted them( knowing I could redownload them in future if needed), since I seldomly use them.

But there are some APPs that I cannot stay a single day without opening them. They're like part of me,I not just open them on a daily basis but in minutes/ hour to the extent that I could uninstall up to 5 APPs for their sakes during an update for want of space. That shows how important they are to me.

Now, the applications not just an application I spend most of my time with are Facebook, Instagram and X(formerly Twitter). I use Facebook and Instagram to advertise my business(and still do), connect with new and existing clients and friends, as well as other social activities. While I go to X to keep abreast of happenings around the globe.

However, all these were before I came in contact with Hive. Ever since I joined Hive I could stay days or weeks without visiting any of those Apps. So, presently, the application I spend most of my time with is @ecency. After my morning devotions, I pick up my phone, straight to Ecency App to greet my @hive and @waves family, lol.

Before I could say “Jack Robinson” I'd already spent 2-3 hours there. There's no App I spend such amount of time on ( ever since I joined Hive) and that's not all. Even when I take a break to attend to other schedules, I still return to it to continue my activities there.

Before my connection to Hive, when I spend an hour surfing social media, at some point I'd stop and ask myself “what have you achieved today?” I usually end up getting angry with myself by my honest answer. But now, spending half of my entire day on Ecency APP is rewarding because I know I get value for every time spent there, knowing it wasn't a wasted time.

Spending most of my time on this APP has to a very large extent improved my daily life in different ways, such that I carefully plan my day to accommodate my every activities (online, offline and family responsibility) so that none suffers at the expense of the other, hence, striking a balance.

This is because on Hive, which is also a learning platform, one learns so many things including how to be productive in one's daily activities through reading different educational articles and other life experiences contents from mature great minds on a daily basis.

I spend a lot of my time on Ecency APP using my phone, about 4-6 hours daily. Which is as a result of the value I get from it which is also rewarding and worth every minute spent there.
