Ladies Of Hive 5th Anniversary Weekly Contest #254

Hello elegant Ladies of Hive community! I'm so excited to participate in this special edition of the LOH weekly contest, being the celebration of the 5th anniversary of this amazing family on this Blockchain.

1️⃣ If you could bring one special dish, drink or treat to our anniversary table, what would it be and what story or memory makes it special to you?

It's an honour to be identified with this astute family, not by blood, race or culture but by one common interest of sisterhood, to build and empower each other with knowledge, confidence and power to speak out in various areas of life through her weekly prompts.

In celebrating this laudable milestone I'll bring champagne for us to toast to; sisterhood, strength and courage in standing out in cheering ladies to rising to challenges that seem to shut their voices from being heard, greatness in choosing the freedom to choose yourself over all odds, because greatness isn't all about winning a trophy nor is it by being recognized by the Guinness book of record for accomplishing one feat alone but by achieving immeasurable success in uncommon ways.

Coming across this community in the first instance, by its name, I thought it's about women's things alone, that the group may not hold water, lol. Far from it, reading and engaging in posts in the community by its members said much about it and what it stands for. It's not just about feminism like I initially thought, but giving value and building members and promoting love and unity. Also,knowing there are a few gents among us left me speechless which also aroused my interest the most, that the community is accommodating and inclusive. Beautiful ladies and handsome gents, not just by faces but in heart.

This is what I think a family should be, a place where everyone is given an equal opportunity to showcase their innate ability or passion, to uplift others and grow in it without fear of unhealthy criticism but with love and guidance. This indeed is a unique antecedent and one of the numerous things I like about this community. My involvement in the community may not be as old as its age, but it's quite memorable enough to blow its trumpet for the numerous achievements it has attained these past years. To that I say a hearty congratulations to the awesome Ladies of Hive community 🎉💗.

My earnest wish is that; she will always find strength to surmount every obstacle that she may encounter. To continue to grow in wisdom to discern in every area where she needs clarity to make the right decision. May she continue to abound in love, unity and all round progress that surpasses human comprehension to celebrate more incredible milestones now and always 🙏.

It's also worthy to note, that moments like this are not just about merriment alone. While we dine, toast and dance, it's also necessary we reflect on the past, review possible challenges we may have faced as a family, both present and in future and find a way to keep pushing and thriving beyond limits.
