I Am Alive And Thriving|| Thankful Thursday||Thankful And Grateful -Lost A Tooth Not Life
Warm greetings Hivians! How are you doing this beautiful Thursday? As for me, I'm doing pretty good. It is a rare privilege to be super awesome, alive and thriving and to see the last day of July 2025. I'm deeply grateful and incredibly excited to be back again after a compulsory yet unavoidable two weeks of no active presence here.
19th July 2025 is a day I will never ever forget in a hurry. A day that came with mixed feelings and memories. The day two of our daughters graduated from one level of their education to step into another level. The day the enemy (the devil ) wanted to cut my life short through a raid accident but God said NO! The day I truly realized that life is meaningless without love, care, family and true friendship. The day I certainly and practically understood that good health is the greatest wealth one can have. The day I came to the realization of the consciousness that the next minute is not guaranteed but the present moment, so make good use of it.
I was happily and joyfully going home that day from the graduation ceremony with gratitude to God for my children's outstanding performance and the success of the event, unknown to me was the danger that lay ahead. The whole incident happened so fast to my bewilderment, not up to a kilometer from the venue of the program. Just when the bike rider bumped into a bump without caution, I lost balance and the next thing I noticed was that I laid with my face on the ground and rain of blood gushing out all over my face with the inflammation that covered both eyes. Thank God there was not an oncoming vehicle behind us, it would have been a different story. Though I lost a tooth in the process but I have my life, that is my greatest testimony.
It's 12 days today since that incident and the healing process beats my imagination. A testament of God still in the business of doing miracles. I am super grateful for everything, for it's but for a reason. God allows certain things into our lives to fulfill a purpose to His own glory. It is pointless whining and asking “why me?” As it could be anybody and we are all equal and special to God. He is all-knowing and all-seeing.
I'm thankful I'm recuperating so fast and my hunger pangs have greatly increased which was not so in the first 3 days of the incident. I'm grateful for the lesson learned, family and some friends here who reached out to me. Most importantly, I'm thankful and grateful to God for sparing my life and for everything.

I'm really grateful for how you enjoyed your day with kids and when the evil one was trying to cut your life short God Almighty did not allow that to happen thank God so much for being there with you and rescuing you from every dangers at that moment the accident took place you didn't end up in the hospital for so long and you are healing so fast ma 😁. Reading your post, it became scary when I got to the point of the accident as you were returning from your children's graduation ceremony.
