The Shadow of the Sign on the Grass

Hello dear #ShadowHunters community,

This is my entry for the ShadowHunters SMASh contest number 440.

Recently, I visited Punta Hicacos Hotel in Varadero, located right in front of the marina.

As I arrived, a simple sign caught my attention. It was mounted on a concrete structure, and under the strong Cuban sun it projected a perfectly rectangular shadow onto the grass.

I liked the simplicity of the scene: a white structure, green grass and a clearly defined shadow created by the morning light.

Sometimes the simplest shadows are the ones that catch our attention.

Up to this point my entry for this week's contest. The images are my property and for the English version I use DeepL Translate.

La sombra del cartel en el césped

Hola querida comunidad de #ShadowHunters,

Esta es mi entrada para el concurso ShadowHunters SMASh número 440.

Recientemente visité el hotel Punta Hicacos, en Varadero, ubicado justo frente a la marina.

Al llegar, un sencillo cartel llamó mi atención. Estaba colocado sobre una estructura de hormigón y, bajo el fuerte sol cubano, proyectaba una sombra perfectamente rectangular sobre el césped.

Me gustó la sencillez de la escena: una estructura blanca, el verde del césped y una sombra claramente definida por la luz de la mañana.

A veces son las sombras más sencillas las que consiguen llamar nuestra atención.

Hasta aquí mi entrada al concurso de la semana, las imágenes son de mi propiedad y para la versión en inglés utilizo DeepL Translate.
