Ending of a friendship

Life is a long journey, and our journey starts from the moment we are born. We start to grow up and create bonds with others. Some bonds are blood-related where most of the bonds are created by us, and it's a very natural process. The bond of friendship is one of the most important among those relationships.

We lost many friends over time, and that's the truth. Most of us can't manage all of those friends that we met in our entire life because we have limitation of time and very few people can make it possible for them. Although nobody becomes friends to break friendships, sometimes, for various reasons, friendship can be broken. The reason can be misunderstanding or it can be the mistake or something else.

I am stingy when it comes to be a friend with anyone. So I make few few friends only but all of the m take connected with me most of the time because maintain few friends is quite possible thing for me and if not require a lot of time. So in my case I can't remember any significant incident for which I can consider a friendship worse. I think I have an incident for what I lost one friend..

The name of my friend is Alauddin (fake name). He was one of my good friends in school. The majority of my time in school I used to spend with him. One day he had some issues with another friend, and it ended up with quarreling. Both of them were my friends, and I never wanted to see them quarreling. I stopped both of them, but they stopped talking with each other. I tried to solve their issues, but both of them were not ready to sacrifice their egos, and the distance between them increased within a few days.

After a few days, one of them suggested me not to talk with another friend. I denied the request immediately because I had no issue with that friend. That friend insisted on it several times, and I denied the request as it was not a valid reason. At the end, he gave me only two options. I needed to choose only one friend among both of them. It was totally unreasonable, and I tried to make him understand it. Rather than understanding the matter, he kept insisting on choosing only one, and that thing made me angry because he was forcing me, and I don't like someone forcing me. Moreover, I had no issues with anyone, and blackmailing me in the name of friendship was irritating.

So I ended up breaking the friendship with him, who insisted me to choose only one. The reason is quite simple to me. He forced me once, and he would repeat the same thing again. So leaving him was the best choice. Whenever I make any decisions, I take them seriously, and it was different in that case also. That friend apologized to me and tried to re-establish the friendship, but after that incident, I couldn't connect with him as well as earlier days, and there was always a gap between us. It was just a matter of time the gap increased and he lost automatically from my life, and I was not so concerned about him because I thought he couldn't be one of them who I could consider friends. That's the way it ends up.
