Hey 👋 it's the last weekend of the month. We'll be welcoming the ninth month in two days 😱 wow! This year sure is ending fast...

First off, the main reason for the post. I staked another 100 ALIVE tokens. I make it a point to do this weekly, although I have reached my target at this point. I do it mainly to support the We Are Alive Tribe. 😉 Do check out the updated tribe page. You'll find some fun games there too. 😆 Thanks to @tydynrain & @borniet 👏

A look back when I explored Barracuda Lake as part of the Coron leg of our Palawan trip. Thankfully, I was able to walk the twenty-step climb needed to get to this side of the lake. 😅 It was pretty steep but I made it so that's a mini victory for me. 👍

The lake is pretty deep so the local guides reminded us not to drop anything as it would not be possible to retrieve. 😛 And yes there are barracudas in the lake but they're nocturnal as we were told. 😆 I'm truly thankful I have built some new memories with my daughter. 🙏❤️💡

I believe I'd totally agree with this quote. We are sometimes faced with something that frightens us. The only way we could overcome it is to face it head on. I guess one of the primary motivations to be able to do that is to find something more valuable to keep us moving forward. Overcoming fear is not easy. I should know. I've never really swum in open water nor thought I'd try kayaking ever before my daughter and I went on our Palawan trip. Once there, however, I felt I did not want to waste the time to have a really good time during our vacation. It was high time to try something I've never tried before. After all, when else would I get another chance?? 😅 I'd say it was really worth it. 😉

It's the last weekend in August. Oh boy! In the Philippines, there is hype in the coming of the -ber months. 😅 For me, it's just MEH 😑 It's more like a signal that another year is almost coming to an end. It makes me want to reflect on whether I have achieved anything fruitful in my year. Also it signals to me that I need to start with my reflections and plans for the coming year. 🤔
