Shall we walk Paris? - LOH Initiative Week #259 / ¿Paseamos por París? - Iniciativa LOH semana #259

Hello, my friends!

Dear @kerrislravenhill, I'm not going to make you return to Havana or spend more days than necessary, as we'll surely run into each other when you see @abelarte or @elviguitarra, for example. So your vacation with me will be in the beautiful French capital: Paris.

I've only been here for a short time, so we'll go to the places that have impressed me the most in all of Paris.
During these three days, what I've enjoyed most has been walking. Walking along the banks of the Seine River has been an incredible experience. It's a very lively walk, full of various activities. Plus, the view is incredible.

On the Seine, we can find everything from boat rides to beautiful swans swimming on its waters.
A must-see visit, and one you're sure to enjoy, is the Moulin Rouge. It's not exactly like the movie, but it does have that Victorian-era magic that the film conveys. If we're lucky, we might even see Nicole Kidman's lookalike!

The Eiffel Tower, of course. This is the place everyone who goes to Paris has to go to. Personally, I don't like it very much, since you have to wait in lines for hours to get up. Once you're up there, it's spectacular, but in the meantime, it's very tedious.
But we'll go, of course.

A place that I find much more incredible is the Palace of Versailles. We can't miss this place, not for all the gold in the world. After the Louvre, it's the place with the most art and history in all of France.

Art permeates its grand halls and gardens.
The Louvre, of course, is another of our must-see stops. Except it's so big, it'll take us a whole day to get there. But we'll do something about it, because we absolutely have to go.

The Montparnasse Cemetery will be another of our stops this vacation. There we'll see the final resting places of the great artists of our world's history.

French food, my friend, is as good as they say. It's no coincidence that it's among the best in the world. We'll eat at some places I've been to and know you'll like. And, if that weren't enough, the wines are incredible.
You'll see we're going to have a great time here in Paris.

Hola, amigas mías!

Querida @kerrislravenhill, no te voy a hacer regresar a la Habana ni a pasarte más días de lo necesario, ya que seguro que nos encontraremos cuando veas a @abelarte o a @elviguitarra, por ejemplo. Así que tus vacaciones conmigo serán en la hermosa capital francesa: París.

Llevo muy poco tiempo aquí, así que iremos a los lugares que más me han impresionado de todo París.
En estos tres días lo que más me ha gustado ha sido caminar. Andar por las orillas del río Sena me ha parecido una experiencia increíble. Es un paseo muy movido, lleno de actividades varias. Además, la vista es increíble.

En el Sena podemos encontrar desde paseos en botes hasta disfrutar de hermosos cisnes nadando por sus aguas.
Una visita que debía y que seguro que te gustará es a Moulin Rouge. A ver, no es como sale en la película, pero sí, tiene esa magia que transmite aquella época victoriana de la película. Si nos ponemos de suerte ¡hasta veamos a la doble de Nicoles Kidman!

La Torre Eiffel, por supuesto. Este es el lugar al que todos los que vamos a París, tenemos que ir. En lo particular, no me gusta mucho, ya que se deben hacer largas horas de colas para poder subir. Una vez arriba, es espectacular, pero mientras tanto, muy tedioso.
Pero iremos, claro.

Un lugar que me parece mucho más increíble es el Palacio de Versalles. Aquí no podemos dejar de ir ni por todo el oro del mundo. Es, después del Louvre, el lugar con más arte e historia de todo Francia.

El arte se respira en sus grandes salones y jardines.
El Lovre, por supuesto, es otra de nuestras paradas obligatorias. Solo que es tan grande, que nos tomará todo un día en él. Pero algo haremos al respecto, ya que tenemos que ir sí o sí.

El Cementerio de Montparnasse será otra de nuestras paradas en estas vacaciones. Ahí veremos los sitios de descanso de los grandes artistas de nuestra historia universal.

La comida francesa, amiga, es tan buena como dicen. No por gusto está entre las mejores del mundo. Comeremos en algunos sitios que he conocido y que sé que te gustarán. Y, por si fuera poco, los vinos son increíbles.
Vas a ver que la vamos a pasar súper aquí en París.
