Introducing HivePro | Agentic Markdown Writer for Hive

For years, many of us have wanted an amazing publisher. The apps on Hive have spent so long trying to build this for us and while many "/publish" UIs have come a long way, there is still a significant gap from where many of us users want it to be.

HivePro is a project of passion from us as people who write very frequently. We've had some dream features in mind and in this new era of AI, many of these features are AI-Powered copilot features like fixing grammar, improving blog structure, shortening or lengthening paragraphs, etc.

With HivePro, you can do all of this and more while having a super enjoyable, reliable and robust user experience. Your drafts are saved through 3 iterative layers of persistence—automatic saves as you type, periodic backups to our servers, and local browser storage as a final safety net.

Not losing drafts is a big deal to us because we've all been there: you write something brilliant, hit a wrong key, lose connection, or your browser crashes, and hours of work vanishes. We built these redundant save systems so that never happens to you. Even if something goes catastrophically wrong, your work is recoverable from at least one of these layers. It's peace of mind while you're in the creative flow, so you can focus entirely on your writing instead of worrying about losing it.

What is HivePro?

HivePro is a beautiful markdown editor built for Hive, packed with AI-powered copilot features designed to make your writing sharper, quicker, and genuinely enjoyable. Think of it as the publisher we've all been waiting for—one that actually understands what creators need when they're in the flow of writing.

At its core, HivePro combines a clean, distraction-free markdown editing experience with intelligent AI assistance that works alongside you, not against you. Whether you're wrestling with sentence structure, trying to find the right tone for your audience, or deciding if a section needs to be expanded or trimmed down, the copilot is there to offer real-time suggestions. You're still in control—these are suggestions, not forced changes—which means you can accept what works and ignore what doesn't.

The editor itself respects how creators actually work. You get proper markdown support, live preview, and all the formatting tools you'd expect, but without the clunky interfaces that make publishing feel like a chore. It's built around the features we've always wished Hive's publisher had: the ability to write naturally while having intelligent assistance available exactly when you need it, whether that's polishing grammar, restructuring your argument, or adjusting the length and depth of your content to match your vision.

Publish to Any Major Hive App

HivePro allows you to publish to any major HiveApp directly from our studio app. You can publish to:

When you publish from the HivePro studio, it is pushed to the Hive blockchain and depending on which app you selected, the metadata and structure of the publishing operation will match the dynamics of that site. For example, publishing to INLEO will allow you to earn LEO rewards on the blog post you published (in addition to the normal HIVE/HBD Rewards).

Comprehensive Revision History

There is no worse feeling than losing your work while you're writing. We've added an extremely comprehensive drafts system that saves at 3 different layers and we also added a "Revision History" feature that saves your work every few seconds.

As you write, the system captures key moments:

1. When you pause typing for a few seconds
2. After you've written 150 words
3. When you delete or edit 150 words
4. And more

At any of these checkpoints, our revision history tool will save your spot. You can recover this history with the "History" icon in the top left of the screen and go back to any checkpoint.

Light / Dark Mode

For whoever loves it, we have both a light and dark mode. Both look amazing.

Clean Mode & WYSIWYG Mode

Use "ctrl + shift + f" and you'll enter a clean mode that has two options (Markdown and WYSIWYG mode). Ditch all the distractions and do what you do best: write.

Rafiki Support 24/7/365

Lucky for us, Rafiki never sleeps. Your copilot can also act as your on-site support staff. Ask Rafiki any question and he'll immediately reply to you.

FAQ

Is This an AI Content Generator?

No, HivePro isn't a content generator. It's a markdown editor paired with an AI copilot that helps you refine what you've written and improve how it flows. We built this to make writing feel effortless, not like a burden. The AI is there to enhance your work—sharpening prose, restructuring ideas, adjusting length—not to write for you. Sure, someone could misuse any tool, and how the community handles that is their call. But by design, content from HivePro isn't AI-generated; our tools exist to amplify your creativity, not replace it.

If you do generate a significant amount of your writing using our AI tooling, we recommend disclaiming that in your blog post. That is up to the author to decide.

Do I Need to Login With Hive?

You can actually use a significant number of the HivePro features without even logging in with Hive. However, if you want the full experience - AI Copilot features, Cloud syncing for Drafts, Templates, etc. you will need to sign in with your Hive account. We support Hive Keychain, HiveSigner, HiveAuth and direct Posting Key.

Is HivePro Free?

Yes, HivePro.ai is completely free to use and if you sign in with Hive, you will get access to most features including the Agentic Copilot (Rafiki). If you want extra usage + bigger models and more features, then you can upgrade to LEO Premium and get access to advanced tooling and high reasoning models for 10 HBD/mo.

Is HivePro in Beta?

Yes, HivePro.ai is in Open Beta. While we've spent extensive time battle-testing this app to get it ready for production, we invite you to use it and give us feedback using the Feedback icon (Bottom Left). We have a long roadmap of features to add to the app and your feedback will guide what we do + help us find bugs and squash them. We invite you to the beta to help us build the best agentic copilot writing app in the business!
