@chefqueen hmmmm, this question made me smile and shed tears. One of the most important people who have shaped my life into what it has become today are my late parents, though there are others who Are still part of my life till now. They taught me the ways of the Lord as a Christian and corrected me in so many ways that, at the time, I sometimes felt they were not even my real parents because of the level of discipline they gave. I didn’t know then that they were only trying to prune off my excesses as a child.
It was in my adulthood that I realized I used to have many flaws that they had actually corrected. Even though I haven’t completely overcome everything, a large part of me was shaped and refined through their discipline. Now, even when the storms of life, difficulties, and challenges arise, their legacy still stands, and I’m still standing strong. God has been helping me through everything they built into me.

Mom and Dad, rest on🥲🥲. .

Reading this gladdens my heart,we think our parents are wicked to us when we were still a child not knowing that they just don't want us to suffer and make the same mistakes they did in their own time, they have pass through that stages and saw the light, so they are trying their possible best not to let their children pass through those difficulties or when passing through it they use the right measures to overcome it and not the wrong one.

May your dad and mom soul continue to rest in Peace and I'm sure they are also proud of how you have become.
Thank you for giving answer to my question.
