Our New Birdie! Meet Skyler.

Friends of ours have been raising American budgies and they just had a batch of baby birds. When we heard about this, we started asking questions. All of our previous budgies have been store-bought and have very limited (but well loved) lives. With a hand-raised bird, it's a whole different story.

This bird LOVE people! Instead of running away from the big hands that go into the cage, this little bird jumps right on! Sometimes, they even curl up and get comfortable.

The children went back and forth, trying to name this little birdy. Eventually they settled on "skyler" since he has a sky blue colored chest.

This baby bird has a lot of "personality" or should we say birdality. He like to chirp and talk to us. What a welcome addition to our home!

It's amazing how hand-raised animals can develop such a close bond with people.

That technical issue with the BEER bot makes @savvyplayer prefer to use its token tipping command only on relatively very short comments or when they have run out of other tokens to tip a given Hive account for the day. 🤔🍺🤯😅

Anyway, I used to tip BEER too, but with my agreement with @savvyplayer about a year ago to engage with other people on Hive more often than me, essentially all my BEER (and WINEX) tokens were to be transferred to them. 🤔🧘‍♂️😏

I see that @savvyplayer always tries to tip you WINEX 3 times a day (for a total of 0.6 WINEX) as often as possible. 🤔🍷 It would be even better if they are able to tip WINEX a total of 4 times a day (which has a total of exactly 1 WINEX). 😎😏

Tipping WINEX 3 times a day requires 225 staked WINEX, while tipping the token 4 times a day requires 675 staked (basically 3 times as much staked WINEX for just an additional token tip per day, though the last tip possible for the day is only about two-thirds larger than the first 3 tips combined). 🤔🤯🤓

I think that since most of the Top Hive Witness (and #HiveEngine Witness) node operators apparently don't support Hive token tipping bots (or Hive bots which, in general, frequently publish comments or send tokens), Hive bot operators are on their own to make their bots catch up with the Witness node updates. 🤔🤯🤯

It's !INDEED more likely for Hive token tipping bot operators who don't have any Hive Witness node yet to participate in such joint project for a Hive Witness node, since someone who is already running a Witness node is less likely to get support for yet another node. 🤔🤓 Imagine someone running a total of 30 Hive Witness nodes, and requests votes for each of them! 🤯💸😆😅

It's more appropriate for a Hive Witness node operator to host their node at a machine that they fully control for the node to be considered decentralized. 🤔🤯 There are some hosting providers which provide Hive Witness node hosting (such as #Privex) at discounted prices, though while better (or more accurately, less worse) than mainstream giant hosting providers, they are arguably not decentralized enough because multiple people on Hive (with at least some dev knowledge) host their Witness nodes there. 🤯🤓
