Lies We Tell to Protect, and the Pain They Cause

Lies are one of the most significant parts of human life and they are something that we can't avoid they can be of various scales some can be small ones and there can be a lot of those as well which are very big in magnitude and can have very severe consequences which is why it is something that is going to have its impact based on the scale and magnitude of light that it is. Many times people do feel that it is something that should be avoided at all cause in many situations it acts as a perfect option to make people feel less hurt.

Any lie gets big or small not because of the complexity that it has itself but because of the impact that it can create a lot of Lies can be very powerful and can have a very big impact and that is why it is something that is seen with a lot of mixed opinions someone people and that is also something that is going to be taking a lot of skill from a person as well to make a lie believable because the amount of confidence and convection data is required to make people convince is also something that takes a lot of effort.

In my life I have been using lies very often for sure because of the situations that I have come across and that is something that I don't promote but it is the result of the situation that has been a part of and many of them have been just to clear out the situation that I was facing or even to make someone feel better or there are different reason for each one of them but if you ask me about the greatest lie that I have told and that had a big impact as well then I would think about one particular lie for sure and that is what I am going to share with you all today.

I had a friend from a long time and who wanted to pursue up particular career and he was very much dedicated towards it and had a very big passion and dream about making it big in that particular career but there were a lot of problems in that to be a reality because his family was not very much supportive in that particular field as well as there were a lot of other challenges as well that he had to be facing because there are factors such as finances and Society pressure and a lot of the things as well because of which it was a very hard journey for him but regardless of all of this is still had that passion within himself and wanted to pursue in that particular field.

There was this one moment when he was having a very big self-doubt within himself and also had a sense of waterlessness because he was going through a very difficult time because of that particular thought as well which was about his chosen career and that point in time I tried to console him and at that moment I told him that "of course, you are having everything that it needs to be that having and you can do it you already have got everything it takes".

All of this seems to be some sort of encouragement at that particular point in time but surely I deep down knew that he had the skills that are needed to be very successful in that particular field along with the discipline and mindset that is also required as well he lacked all of those things and I knew that he was not yet ready to be facing all of the struggles that are going to be face by him in this journey ahead and instead of telling him the harsh reality which I also agreed with was something that I choose to just make him feel better and give him that blind reassurance.

After that, he continued to pursue that path and he was very much struggling in that field after a lot of rejections he faced a particular point in life where he admitted to himself that it was something that was not for him and that was the moment when I felt very bad because it was something that I knew from a very nonperiodic but that pain of realization that he had to go through or something that I could have maybe saved him from.

All in all my greatest lie was something that had quite a lot of impact on someone's life and it was something that was a blind encouragement from my side and that is something which I feel very much regretted even today because that could have been something that might have a different outcome if I didn't say what I said back then but there are a lot of moment in life when we feel that lies are sometimes very necessary and we have to be replacing reality with them to have a bit of good impact but we must also think about the long term impact that it might have on someone or something.
