They just don’t get it

Ah, the Hive elite.

They sprout the same old argument that they’re protecting the reward pool because short form is not "high quality" content.

This is their core philosophy.

But they just don't understand content.

The Hive blockchain is not actually designed for evergreen, long-form articles.

It’s designed to get its governance token into the most hands, in the most efficient way possible.

That’s how it works and all that matters.

Yep, ironically Hive is designed for short-term, repetitive churn and burn.

Like say… Threads.

It just blows my mind that this argument continues to be a thing.

What is good content?

A good content strategy is about building authority for a domain.

Something the Hive blockchain and its system of reward distribution has nothing to do with.

It’s about creating evergreen pieces that you update.

Then linking fresh ideas back to them with a long-term plan.

Again, that is the polar opposite of how the Hive blockchain functions.

The Hive elite want these shitty blogs that they view as taking effort.

But the blockchain itself is a distribution engine.

A firehose.

New people post, they earn, then they move on with their reward tokens that help secure the chain via decentralisation.

That is the system.

They’ve been here for years, it's just insane that they still don't understand content and the role of rewards for the blockchain they claim to have been sent by god to protect.

Best of probabilities to you.

Dane.

If satoshi had kept all the coins for himself, and a few close friends, bitcoin would have no value.

IF half the inflation was going to only 20 accounts do you think it would have found widespread adoption?
Until this changes we can only expect more of the same from the hive, imo.

There is nothing in the pipeline to propely Hive outside its bubble.

The Hive elite will continue to leech what they can while it lasts and the HIVE token will continue grinding down.

Sad state of affairs but the writing is on the wall.

There isn't much to do here, if you don't make content that finds favor with the whales.

It's the whales, imo, that are keeping the price above the distribution price of less than .1usd.
Maybe that is self preservation, maybe it is to keep the witnesses active.
As things are, the price to power ratio is not in line with mass adoption.

We will have to wait to see what devs we can attract, and what things they create.
The code is nearing making that easier, as I understand things.

Great insights! I never saw it that may previously in terms of good content. I only had a vague idea that distribution was a way to "achieve" decentralization but it seems there are many nuances within that process.
