Nice sunrise yesterday morning as I got my coffee made. Nicely it hasn't been too hot here, mid 80s F is much nicer than the 90s.

Mid morning I spent time getting the beds finished up downstairs. Attached the plates then fixed the headboard to ours.

Then got the trundle bed put together which R has been sleeping on. It did stop his flying leaps onto the mattresses but he has oodles of blankets in the other rooms to do the same to.

I used 3" deck screws to install the grab bars in the main bathroom. Thankfully the 18" bar worked on the 16" spaced studs.

The shower wall side had good studs which I attached both bars to the same one but opposite sides. FIL is very happy with their location.

Over the afternoon I kept working in the garage to organize and had ample space to work with the new couch MIL got near evening. BIL and I managed to heft the seriously heavy couch base into the living room. 350+ lb couch did not want to move easily.

But it is in place and it hooked up to the tv so everyone got to try out the in-couch sound. The couch has 3 electrical plugs to run the thing...

One of the rare poms I have ever met that is somewhat calm and not a constant yipper. Bear is a fox faced pom that thinks he is a big dog. He only barks sometimes and not ALL THE TIME like so many little dogs. At least around us he wasn't...

Last full day today and about the last thing on our list of to-dos is to hang the pictures and at work around the house. Likely a few other tasks to do but the biggest bulk of them are now done. I have a few jobs scheduled for this next week and the boys go back to school Wednesday.
