3D Printed Fabric, Fog, Run, Watercolor, Truck Troubleshooting Hell, Darts, Kraken - Thursday
Found a good fabric to print now that can couple together easily. It prints at full plate size but takes FOREVER to finish a sheet. 9 hours per and I have 3 of them now. I plan to make enough to make a tunic top, sorta a chain mail type thing.
Another foggy day and it was not as thick as other days but still socked in. The entire region has fog, not just the river valley as normal.
I went for my first run in many weeks and managed to struggle through the mile out and back to the gate. I have to climb the hill to get to the path which is the ascent. I have to get the time under 10 minutes before the end of the month as this was far too long and I felt far too bad.
Once done I put the PDC matches on, took a shower and shaved, then sat and got my daily watercolor done for #doodlewash. FOG was the prompt and I am actually pretty comfortable with what I was able to paint. The land could have been a bit better but there IS fog there.
So I was waiting on the new MAF for the truck and kept poking around while waiting. I tried a few different things and gave the truck a start. Same codes blow. I get about 30 to 60 seconds of the engine running normal then the codes blast and it hobbles it.
I got the other 3 cells done and I kinda like the bottom left one. Almost managed the mtns in purple in the background. Was trying for a much darker scene.
Finally got the new MAF and installed it. SAME FUCKING THING! Such horse shit! One of the screws holding hte MAF had been missing and I thought maybe THAT was the air leak, but after putting in a new one it did nothing to stop the codes.
The next sheet of fabric came off. When J got home from school he clipped the 2 sheets together and was super stoked on the stuff as it is way more flexible than the pentagon shaped one. This is square faced so has flex all directions.
This was my day of troubleshooting. Mapping pins and running continuity checks, voltage checks, and yet still NOTHING is fixing this shit! REALLY getting frustrating.
I made dinner and after eating while the Kraken game was on I got a bit of time at the board. I am getting MUCH better now and have my dart grip pretty dialed. My groupings like this are getting far more often and I am hitting a triple 20 at least once in 3 visits at most. This 140 was damn close to the 180.
This grouping tricked me, I so thought I had the 140 but it was just outside so 100.
Kraken lost though they managed to do okay most of the game.
Thankfully the ick has largely gone now and I am just trying to get my lungs back to normal. Today I will get the printer going on another sheet, will get the boys to school in a couple hours, will do my mile, get watercolors done, PDC finals day at Bahrain is on, keep troubleshooting my damn truck, pickup the co-op order, then will grill burgers tonight for dinner.

So curious, what is the purpose in the chain-mail? Also, we need to get you into a Bambu Lab printer and you will have it in half the time, lol. A1's are like 329 these days and you can get an A1 mini with 4 color AMS for the same price. Just saying... LOL
I know, I've been lagging on the AMS. I'm printing these at 25% and with all the movement it takes forever, even at 5% infill. My goal is to make a Tunic top, kinda a chain mail type top just to make it now. The new fabric models I found couple together on the edges and there are various shapes that allow for forming to clothes. I like functional prints, not just shit to set on a shelf and look at.
Yeah, I hear that. I am all about the functionality myself.

Are there other sensors which might be faulty? Crank position sensor, exhaust o2 sensor, etc?
I've been checking all of them as I go through and so far they are all testing good. I'm working on pin to pin continuity checks to rule out the cable groups... Not fun by myself but at least my Fluke has long enough leads. I have the factory service manual so have all the troubleshooting guides but so far no luck.
