¡Qué clase de palo metió Pedro, hermano! Orgullo monaguense total. Tienes toda la razón, con palos así da ganas de pedirlo de titular ya mismo, pero yo creo que el cuerpo técnico lo tiene agarrado con la brida por varias razones. Primero, porque está muy chamo, apenas tiene 22 años y en Grandes Ligas si lanzas a un novato a quemarropa todos los días la liga se le ajusta rápido y se lo puede comer. Lo van llevando con calma, cuidándolo para ponerlo solo contra pitcheres que se le acomoden a su zona y no exponerlo tanto a pitcheos quebrados mientras termina de pulirse. A eso súmale que el cuadro interior está congestionado con varios veteranos que tienen contratos pesados y no es tan sencillo sentarlos de un solo golpe. Pero tranquilo, que dándole a la pelota de línea y remolcando cinco carreras como ayer, ese muchacho solito va a tumbar la puerta y se va a quedar con el puesto fijo.
