My First Anime Top 3 - LOH Contest #259 / Mi primer Top 3 de anime - Concurso LOH #259 (eng-esp)

Hi, girls!

Dear @kerrislravenhill, I confess I'm not really into anime. That's something @abelarte and my son Dieguito started watching, also because of Abel.

However, following this challenge, I asked her to name two or three characters she identified with, and these were her top three:

Kuchiki Rukia, from Bleach.

San, from Princess Mononoke.

And Sophie Hatter, from Howl's Moving Castle.

I was only able to watch the first few episodes of Bleach, skipping only the parts where Rukia appeared. Abel says he chose her because she appears fragile and cold, but in reality she's strong and warm, caring, and loyal. He also says we both have the same terrifying look when we're angry.

San is Princess Mononoke. This was the first Hayao Miyazaki film I ever saw, and I was fascinated by it. I was surprised when Abel compared me to it. But when he explained that it's because of my constant fight against animal abuse and because of how much I love animals, I understood.
I'm capable of taming and riding my wolves to protect my kingdom (my home, my children, and my pets: my family). So, in that sense, yes, I'm more of a San than Rukia.

But if I have to choose someone, it has to be Sophie. I still can't quite explain why. I saw the film yesterday afternoon before writing this post, and I loved it. It was the second Miyazaki film I've seen, and it's prompted me to seek out more from Studio Ghibli.
I admit I'd been advised to do so, but I was hesitant.

Anyway, I identify with Sophie because of her love and also her anger. I love the fact that she's a young girl in an old woman's body. She's hardworking and capable of charming everyone around her, especially Calcifer.
The strength and composure Sophie demonstrated throughout her adventure is enviable. Plus, she's someone who resembles me in things I would have said or done, like the fact that she hired herself as the cleaning lady.
Things like this, crazy and full of magic, about Sophie are what made me fall in love with the character and the story.

So, I did my homework to answer this week's community quiz #259 questions. I hope I did well.
I recommend you look up Ghibli films.

Hola, chicas!

Querida @kerrislravenhill, te confieso que no soy de ver animes. Eso es cosa de @abelarte y de mi hijo Dieguito, quien los ha comenzado a ver, también por Abel.

Sin embargo, a raíz de este reto le pedí que me dijera dos o tres personajes con los que me identificaran y este fue su top 3:

Kuchiki Rukia, de Bleach.

San, de La Princesa Mononoke.

Y Sophie Hatter, de Howl´s moving castle.

De Bleach solo pude ver los primeros capítulos de la serie y pasando solo a las partes donde aparecía Rukia. Dice Abel que la eligió porque es un personaje frágil y frío en apariencia, pero en que en verdad es fuerte y cálida, preocupada, fiel. Además, dice que ambas tenemos la misma mirada aterradora cuando nos enojamos.

San es la princesa Mononoke. Esta fue la primera película de Hayao Miyazaki que vi en mi vida y me fascinó. Me sorprendió que Abel me comparara con ella. Pero al explicarme que es por mi lucha constante en contra del maltrato animal y por lo mucho que amo a los animales, lo entiendo.
Soy capaz de domar y montar a mis lobos por tal de proteger mi reino (mi hogar, mis hijos y mis mascotas: mi familia). Así que, por ese lado, sí, soy más San que Rukia.

Pero, si debo escoger a alguien, debe ser a Sophie. Aún no sé explicar bien por qué. La película la vi ayer en la tarde antes de escribir esta publicación, y me encantó. Fue la segunda película de Miyazaki que he visto y me ha impulsado a buscar más de los estudios Ghibli.
Admito que ya me habían aconsejado a hacerlo, pero estaba reticente.

En fin, me identifico con Sophie por lo amorosa y también con sus enojos. Me encanta el hecho de que es una jovencita en el cuerpo de la anciana. Es hacendosa y es capaz de encantar a todos los seres a su alrededor, en especial a Calcifer.
La fuerza y temple que demostró Sophie durante toda su aventura, es envidiable. Además, es alguien que se parece a mí en cosas que también hubiera dicho o hecho yo, como aquello de que ella se contrataba a ella misma como la asistente de limpieza.
Cosas así alocadas y llenas de magia en Sophie, son las que me hicieron enamorarme del personaje y de la historia.

Así que, hice mi tarea para responder a las preguntas del concurso de la comunidad de esta semana #259. Espero haberlo hecho bien.
Les recomiendo que busquen las películas de Ghibli.
Ya me dirán.
