Hey girls!

If you ask me what my perfect afternoon would be like, @elizabethbit, I don't have to think twice. I'm a guitarist, so music is part of my life, my work, and also my moments of enjoyment.

That's why an ideal afternoon for me would start with a guitar concert. It could be soloists, duos, quartets, or guitar orchestras, or a mix, but always guitars.

Of course, not to play myself, but to listen. To sit among the audience and let myself be carried away by the notes of some great performer, one of those who make you forget where you are and only the music exists.

But I wouldn't go alone. It's important for me to share this with my family. I would go with my husband and my two children. Since they are guitar students, they always understand my passion for the guitar, at least not in the way I feel it. So I want them with me. I want them to see how excited I get, to hear what I hear, to share that experience. My husband is already used to it. My children occasionally ask questions, and I like that. It means the music resonates with them.

After the concert, the afternoon would continue in a more down-to-earth way. We would go for pizza and spaghetti. It's not fancy food, but it's what my children like. And I like seeing them happy. I love that noisy table where they argue over the last piece, where my husband and I laugh at their antics. After the music, comes the family bustle. And I enjoy it.

But the afternoon wouldn't end there. The final part would be with our friends. We'd arrive at someone's house, or perhaps some outdoor spot, and sit down to talk. To talk about everything and nothing. About the children, about work, about life. We'd put on some background music, the kind that doesn't demand attention but accompanies the moment. And we'd drink some beers or wine, depending on our mood. Like that, without rushing, until the sun set and night found us still chatting.

That's my perfect afternoon. Music, family, food, and friends. Nothing extraordinary, but all together it's exactly what I need.

Hola, chicas!

Si me preguntan cuál sería mi tarde perfecta, @elizabethbit, no tengo que pensarlo demasiado. Soy guitarrista, así que la música es parte de mi vida, de mi trabajo y también de mis momentos de disfrute.
Por eso, una tarde ideal para mí comenzaría con un concierto de guitarra. Puede ser de solistas, dúos, cuartetos u orquestas de guitarras, o mixto, pero de guitarras.
Por supuesto, no para tocar yo, sino para escuchar. Para sentarme entre el público y dejarme llevar por las notas de algún gran intérprete, de esos que hacen que olvides dónde estás y solo exista la música.

Pero no iría sola. Para mí es importante compartir esto con mi familia. Iría junto a mi esposo y mis dos hijos. Ellos, la ser estudiantes de guitarra, siempre entienden mi pasión por la guitarra, al menos no como yo la siento. Así que los quiero conmigo. Quiero que vean cómo me emociono, que escuchen lo que yo escucho, que compartan ese espacio. Mi esposo ya está acostumbrado. Mis hijos, de vez en cuando, preguntan cosas y eso me gusta. Significa que la música les llega.

Al salir del concierto, la tarde continuaría de una forma más terrenal. Iríamos a comer pizzas y espaguetis. No es comida sofisticada, pero es lo que les gusta a mis hijos. Y a mí me gusta verlos contentos. Me gusta esa mesa ruidosa donde ellos discuten por la última porción, donde mi esposo y nos reímos de sus ocurrencias. Después de la música, viene el bullicio familiar. Y lo disfruto.

Pero la tarde no terminaría ahí. La parte final sería con nuestros amigos. Llegaríamos a alguna casa, o quizás a un lugar al aire libre, y nos sentaríamos a conversar. A hablar de todo y de nada. De los niños, del trabajo, de la vida. Pondríamos música de fondo, de esa que no exige atención pero acompaña. Y beberíamos algunas cervezas o vino, según el humor. Así, sin prisas, hasta que el sol se fuera y la noche nos encontrara todavía charlando.

Esa es mi tarde perfecta. Música, familia, comida y amigos. Nada extraordinario, pero todo junto es exactamente lo que necesito.
