It's harvest time / Es tiempo de cosecha (eng-esp)

Hello, girls!

We've always talked in the community about the importance of hard work. And not just in the community; we've always instilled this maxim in our own children. But it's difficult. Even more so these days.

The world has already changed, and not necessarily for the better.

The thing is that today we strive to do everything faster. In fact, videos on social media are designed to last a few seconds, since it's said that no one watches longer videos.
And to a certain extent, that's true.

But real life isn't like that. For example, look at my case. My husband and I planted this grape vine over a year ago.

After a lot of watering, pruning, and spraying against pests and insects, today I'm finally reaping the fruits of our labor.

Imagine what would happen to work. There are times when I struggle (excuse the redundancy) to get my students to understand the need to study for a couple of hours each day. That's their only job. They don't have to do anything else.

However, they would like me to make them learn the easiest pieces so that in half an hour they could play them perfectly. And that's not how they're going to learn.

Every effort brings results. And everything takes time. Some works require fewer hours of study to master, due to the technical complexity of the work, while others require more study.

The benefits? The fruit of their effort? We'll see later. Perhaps in a more practical, quantitative way; or in a more abstract, intangible, or qualitative way. Life and the nature of the work will tell.
Perhaps even those around you will benefit. As is my case, even my cats are enjoying our work with the grapes!

Today is a happy day. After much effort and patience, we are reaping the fruits of our labor: literally speaking.

¡Hola, chicas!

Siempre hemos conversado en la comunidad de la importancia del trabajo duro. Y no solo en la comunidad, a nuestros propios hijos siempre le hemos inculcado esa máxima de la vida. Pero es difícil. Mucho más en estos días que estamos viviendo.
Ya el mundo ha cambiado, y no necesariamente para mejor.

Sucede que hoy en día todo se busca realizar con mayor rapidez. De hecho, los videos en las redes sociales se piensan para pocos segundos, ya que se dice que nadie observa videos de mayor duración.
Y hasta cierto punto es cierto.
Pero la vida real no es así. Por ejemplo, miren mi caso. Hace más de un año que mi esposo y yo sembramos esta mata de uva.

Tras mucho trabajo de regado, poda y fumigación contra plagas e insectos, hoy ya estoy recogiendo los frutos de nuestro trabajo.

Imagínense lo que sucedería con el trabajo. Hay veces que me cuesta trabajo (valga la redundancia) conseguir que mis alumnos entiendan la necesidad de estudiar un par de horas cada día. Ese es su único trabajo. No tienen que hacer más nada.
Sin embargo, ellos quisieran que les pusiera a aprenderse las obras más fáciles y que en media hora ya pudieran tocarla a la perfección. Y no es así como van a aprender.

Todo esfuerzo trae un resultado consigo. Y todo lleva su tiempo. Hay obras que requieren menor cantidad de horas de estudio dominarlas, por la complejidad técnica de la obra, mientras que otras llevan mayor necesidad de estudio.
¿Los beneficios? ¿El fruto de su esfuerzo? Se verá más adelante. Quizás de una forma más práctica, cuantitativa; o de una forma más abstracta, intangible o cualitativa. La vida y la naturaleza del trabajo lo dirá.
Quizás hasta se beneficien aquellos que te rodean. Como es mi caso que ¡hasta mis gatas están disfrutando de nuestro trabajo con las uvas!

Hoy es un día feliz. Luego de mucho esfuerzo y paciencia, estamos recogiendo el fruto de nuestro trabajo: literalmente hablando.
