The first step is to trace or transfer the image using a crayon pencil. Then, in a small dish, dissolve the powdered paint you’re going to use in a little bit of liquor and start painting with the lightest color.
Next, dissolve the apple green and, using a medium-sized brush, start painting the lightest area, making small strokes rather than long ones so the paper doesn’t get too wet and warp too much. Work step by step until you’ve filled in all the light areas.
Note: If you have a hair dryer, you can dry it little by little.

Now continue painting with dark green, filling in little by little, trying as much as possible not to go outside the lines, since if it smudges, you can’t erase it.
And so you repeat the process on the hair, pants, and eyes with the corresponding colors, and finally outline with black paint and let it dry thoroughly.

It will now be ready for transfer.

Once the gelatin is set and feels dry, center the paper in the middle and begin to smooth it down little by little from top to bottom, using a small cloth, trying as much as possible to avoid trapping air so that the image transfers correctly and no white marks remain. If by chance you end up with any air bubbles, use a needle to prick them slightly so the air escapes.
Leave the paper on the gelatin for 30 to 40 minutes so the image transfers properly.
You can put it in the fridge in the meantime to prevent condensation and ensure the image isn’t damaged.

Now you can see how the image turned out on the jelly (the little dots you see are sprinkles they sprinkled on top)
