@chefqueen, being birthed by one does not mean being raised by them. That one person who raised and shaped me into what I am today was my grandmother.
That woman was a no nonsense woman and that made her the center of my universe before I started having my own children.
Even in death, I still remember her and apply her teachings to a lot of things in my daily life.
