RE: The Waiting Period…

You got that right!

I regularly experience a waiting period. For instance, every Friday, when I close my business laptop and put my business phone aside, my waiting period begins. Waiting for Monday morning, when I'll be allowed to open my laptop and pick up my phone to start working again. It is a very hard wait, I can tell you! Next waiting period will start this Wednesday, since our society decided we shall 'enjoy' national holidays the last two workdays of this week. Darn them! Five days waiting incoming! Fortunately, you provided a song I shall listen to to ease the 'pain' of waiting.

😆

On a more serious note... True most people experience waiting periods. My advice is usually: don't wait! Either accept the situation, or work on whatever needs to be done to try and achieve whatever one is waiting for. In the meantime, enjoy the execution of whatever path one walks to achieve goals and dreams as well as the here and now. When all becomes a little much, grasp the moments. Find the tricks and tools to do so. For everybody, this is something different. Some of those tricks for me are: Get my butt over to a great dance festival. Take a long walk through the parks or woods, either just listening to the sounds of nature, or with some big ass headphones on my ears pushing out the sounds of deep and dark (electronic) music, or other kind of complex styles. Honestly, I rarely experience waiting periods. Perhaps I do wait, but it usually doesn't nag me at all. Always something I can occupy myself with I like to do. Whether it is reading a book (I have at least 50 books lying around I still want to read), spending time on HIVE, submerge myself into the trenches of crypto, or whatever... owww, hanging out with friends in between all this helps also to not experience the waiting.

Now this is something. Many people can’t wait for the weekend so they can rest and enjoy themselves but you’d rather work? Talk about being dedicated!

Either accept the situation, or work on whatever needs to be done to try and achieve whatever one is waiting for

This is another interesting way to look at the waiting period. Simply put, “If life gives you lemons make lemonade.”

I love how you see the waiting period. Less painful and more purposeful and your tricks are superb too.

Thanks for leaving this beautiful comment on my post, it was insightful.
