The Waiting Period…
The waiting period? What exactly is the waiting period?
The Waiting Period simply put can be a time in your life when you are waiting for something to happen. In this period you feel stuck in one place, it feels like nothing is working, and you sometimes do not know the next step to take.
You could be waiting for anything, be it a job, admission, marriage, kids, breakthrough, next idea, or even to be healthy again.
A lot of people experience the waiting period. Some wait longer than others.
The waiting period will test your patience, it will throw you off balance, and can make you question your capabilities. It can even throw you into depression if you are not careful.
The waiting period is not for the faint-hearted as only the strong can make it out in one piece.
While waiting, a lot of options would come in disguise as the real deal but being able to discern which is your answer or which will launch you to the next level will save you from a lot of trouble.
Some of us are currently in our waiting period, waiting patiently for that one thing we’ve always prayed or wished for. Some of us are losing our minds already, crying in secret, and losing our sense of humor and happiness.
We are hoping and praying for a miracle, we don’t know how long we can persevere but we are still pushing regardless.
It’s not so easy to always be strong and hopeful nor easy to throw away all your dreams and settle for less or the available but we just have to trust the process.
To everyone in their waiting period, I just want you to know that the wait is going to be over, if not now but eventually. You’ve come too far to just give up.
I’d like to share a beautiful song with you all, especially to those in their waiting period.
The title of the song is Stand Still by Maverick City Music ft Mara Justine. The song was released in October 2024.
Stand Still is not an ordinary song. It is a very powerful song. A song that renews our hopes and keeps us motivated.
Stand Still is a Christian song, a song that reminds us of the promises of God.
He's bringing back the years, He's restoring me He draws me out of fear, says He's holding me I'm learning who I am with Him right next to me.
The song reminds and admonishes us to trust not just in our capabilities but also in God as God is more than able to restore all the months or years we waited for whatever we prayed for.
Stand Still is a beautiful song that soothes and motivates us at the same time. The lyrics of the song are wonderful, conveying powerful messages to us.
If you’re looking for a wonderful music to listen to or you need a music to uplift your spirit I recommend Stand Still.
The waiting period might take time but when the results start coming you’d know that it was worth the Wait. So hang in there friends, and never give up.

You got that right!
I regularly experience a waiting period. For instance, every Friday, when I close my business laptop and put my business phone aside, my waiting period begins. Waiting for Monday morning, when I'll be allowed to open my laptop and pick up my phone to start working again. It is a very hard wait, I can tell you! Next waiting period will start this Wednesday, since our society decided we shall 'enjoy' national holidays the last two workdays of this week. Darn them! Five days waiting incoming! Fortunately, you provided a song I shall listen to to ease the 'pain' of waiting.
😆
On a more serious note... True most people experience waiting periods. My advice is usually: don't wait! Either accept the situation, or work on whatever needs to be done to try and achieve whatever one is waiting for. In the meantime, enjoy the execution of whatever path one walks to achieve goals and dreams as well as the here and now. When all becomes a little much, grasp the moments. Find the tricks and tools to do so. For everybody, this is something different. Some of those tricks for me are: Get my butt over to a great dance festival. Take a long walk through the parks or woods, either just listening to the sounds of nature, or with some big ass headphones on my ears pushing out the sounds of deep and dark (electronic) music, or other kind of complex styles. Honestly, I rarely experience waiting periods. Perhaps I do wait, but it usually doesn't nag me at all. Always something I can occupy myself with I like to do. Whether it is reading a book (I have at least 50 books lying around I still want to read), spending time on HIVE, submerge myself into the trenches of crypto, or whatever... owww, hanging out with friends in between all this helps also to not experience the waiting.

Now this is something. Many people can’t wait for the weekend so they can rest and enjoy themselves but you’d rather work? Talk about being dedicated!
This is another interesting way to look at the waiting period. Simply put, “If life gives you lemons make lemonade.”
I love how you see the waiting period. Less painful and more purposeful and your tricks are superb too.
Thanks for leaving this beautiful comment on my post, it was insightful.
