One year with Duo as Guest Author

It has been a little over one year that I have been a guest author for the Duo community guest post project and if I can be honest, my time here with them has been more than just about writing. It has been a journey of connection, growth, and learning that I do not take lightly.

When I was first asked to guest post, this meant the world to me. Not only because there are some rewards to be made but mostly because I was brought into a community where people value fellow humans and want to lift them up. As time went on the meaning behind this opportunity deepened. I grew not just as a writer, but also as a person, all thanks to this amazing community.

The friends I have made here on this community mean the world to me. Finding true connection is hard on a platform where people are coming from so many different paths. These connections are also what keep me coming back to write as often as I do and they have all helped me become more consistent with my writing.

I have learned so many things during my time; learning how to be more intentional with my words. Being committed to writing every week and connecting with the community through other guest posts have really taught me a lot and I do not take the opportunities I've been given for granted.

Most importantly I've been able to grow so much as a writer on the hive platform all due to this guest post project with the Duo community. I truly want to thank them for giving me the opportunity to do so and for creating such an amazing space where it's possible for people like me to grow as a writer.

I want to be completely clear and let the Duo guest post community know that I am not done with guest posting and I fully plan on continuing to work with them. This project is something I believe in and I would be so honored to continue my work with them.

I look forward to another year of writing with the Duo guest author project; another year of growth, connection and friendship.
