- For the past week, we have been doing various political advertising jobs. As you know, this is not to my liking, but work is work, and I have to do it. You know how the pay and salary are here. So let's just focus on the art.
This has served as constant practice in applying color to rustic surfaces under different circumstances, such as the constant cycle of rain, sun, rain, sun that we have been experiencing. A few days ago, after painting, we had not finished when severe weather began, with rain causing the paint to fall off a little and damage the surface. However, the next morning we were able to save this mural.
Just today, we started a new moralism project. All of this will be carried out throughout the week until Sunday, when the mayoral elections end here in my town. If you are Venezuelan, you know who will win, since those in power will always be there with control and command of the situation.
All the materials used here were rubber-based paints in primary colors, which are yellow, blue, and red. The technique used was the classic brush on a cement wall. The rough surface makes it a little difficult to achieve straight, clean lines, but by using different techniques and brushes, this result can be achieved.
We hope that once these works are finished, we can resume the projects that have not been completed in terms of murals that raise awareness and are a little more artistic, away from the political sphere.

It seems that most of the politicians are the same all of over the world. most of the time, the running politician who hold the place at the office will have the advantage over its contender over the election. Although there will always be exception, but this kinds of things is very normal, especially here in my country. but I still confused to why we keep on giving those politician the vote so that they could have the power to govern, despite the bad things that we all know they have done.

Many reasons, but basically It is a dictatorship from which we cannot escape. From the highest ranks of the military to the lowest strata of society, people live in fear of losing what little they have, and the vast majority hold out hope that something will change, even though deep down they know that it will not. There are too many publications and places where you can delve much deeper into this topic here in Venezuela, but in short, it is a regime rife with corruption.
