Drawing something to share with my brothers and sisters at DUO GuestAuthor.

First of all, a big hello to everyone involved in this project. I’d like to start by introducing this design, drawing, or whatever you want to call it—because for me, it’s a total stress reliever and, at the same time, a way to keep my hand in.
This drawing was done with a black pen using a very simple, basic, and fun technique I might call “crazy strokes.” When I start this kind of drawing, I usually begin by sketching a shape—a nose appears—and then I add those spherical or circular shapes (whatever you want to call them) that resemble eyes. From there, I gradually work out the proportions until a face emerges. This isn’t the face of a well-known person or someone I’ve seen before—just two eyes, a nose, and a mouth that create a face. And that’s why I know that practice is essential for any kind of artist—whether a draftsman, writer, painter, or even an athlete—who recognizes that it’s not just about talent, and that sometimes you don’t even need talent when perseverance and discipline are applied correctly.

I’ve been drawing graffiti—usually letters—for several years, but my passion for drawing goes far beyond just the ephemeral art of graffiti, that adrenaline-fueled speed that’s transmitted, expressed, and created within this cultural and artistic sphere. We’ve sometimes had debates about whether it’s art or just simple vandalism with excuses. However, everyone has a different point of view and opinion on this topic. I consider that personally, I will always be a fan of graffiti, as long as it respects certain public spaces—such as the facades of houses, businesses, banks, and public establishments—that truly need to have a clean, neat, and elegant facade. In places like these, we know that graffiti is entirely harmful and adds no positive value, but I strongly support the drawings found in the most unexpected places—graffiti at height and what we truly call “underground” graffiti, which is practically invisible to the vast majority.

And returning to the initial topic of this drawing, I can say that I actually did it today quite quickly—just strokes that form shapes. I have a drawing style that I really enjoy; I usually draw faces, but I also like to draw animals, house facades, and mountains using this technique. I hope to soon have enough time to share with you much better-executed works that convey a more positive and encouraging message.
