Fallen Lake Trees
(Edited)

One of my favourite things to photograph are fallen trees. There is something just so interesting about a fallen tree. Makes you immediately question: how long has it been lying here, what made it fall to begin with, how old was the tree? At least these are some of the things that run through my mind. There seemed to be quite a few fallen trees around the shoreline, here at Cameron Lake (I wonder if Park’s staff ever remove the excess fallen trees?) It certainly was a gorgeous day for a hike around Cameron Lake. Did you get a chance to hike around any lakes this Summer?

The trees on the edge of the reservoir also look very neat and the mountains over there look beautiful.
Thanks for looking!
Wow
Nature is wow!
They're beautiful, although while logs of wood aren't my favorite stuff to shoot, I guess they just have this thing that makes you interested in their history
I guess I like to shoot a variety of things, fallen trees being one of them. History, I find fascinating, thanks.
Fallen trees can be very interesting to see in nature. For one they are beautiful in their own way, but also a good source of firewood in a pinch!
Beautiful shots! That line of burnt vs live trees is really dramatic in the B&W's! Very cool!
Indeed, forgot about the firewood angle..thanks as always for stopping by.
Nice shots, yeah its all part of viewing nature, the good and the bad, as well as the cycles that come with it. Love trees too, ones that look alive, fallen, burnt or whatever with great scenes within the frame. Nice work my friend.
Nature in all its forms! What’s not to love? Thanks @shoemanchu.
Beauty pictures, If a tree falls in the forest, does anybody really hear
Let’s ask Bruce!
