I live in florida and door to door salesmen seem common for roofs, solar panels, and tree trimmers.

Yeah, it seemed like most bulletin boards were carrying various FidoNET conferences at the time. It wasn't much later that I started using Usenet via my university internet…

I had a Commodore 64 in the late 80s/early 90s. I think I regularly bought this magazine from 1989 until 1992 or whenever the last issue was.

I didn't really get "online" until the early 1990s with some local BBSes. I had a blast doing it though.

For many Star Wars fans, Empire Strikes Back would fit into this category.

I'm thinking it was Michigan Recreation and Park Association. Other photos from this batch have included playgrounds and events at rec centers so this would make sense.…

I had two PCs in the 1990s (not counting my Commodore 64). Both were Gateway 2000s. One was a 486 and the other was a Pentium II. I loved those machines. The first one looked like this:

I really liked Tim Curry's role in Home Alone 2. It was interesting hearing that he had been considered for the role of Marv in the original.

I mostly use Ecency. I like the fact that it has both a good desktop interface as well as a good mobile app. I also really like PeakD though and I like its wallet better than Ecency's.
