Thanks for the breakdown. Me being entirely new to the space would (and kinda did) go with a different allocation, and here's my reasoning:

  • I'd go $60 in LEO. It's the underlying asset for the others, enables you to generate yield in either LEO or LSTR, and is directly subject to buybacks from economic activity etc.
  • $30 in LSTR. I know LSTR is expected to outperform LEO (just like MSTR outperformed BTC) but there is now guarantee this will be the case, especially since there's no enforceability for the equity value of LSTR and there's 90% of LSTR held by the organization. I understand they're supposed to be used to purchase more LEO down the line, but in order to do so they need to enter circulation
  • $10 in SURGE. This in an experiment, and I'm happy to support it, but I'm also ready to lose most of this investment in case things don't pan out the way we want them. I haven't really understood how the yield will be generated long-term, so I wouldn't take that for granted and use this as a speculative element
