If I Had $100
This is a fun exercise I've been playing around with in my mind over the past day or so....
I remember when things first started heating up for me on this blockchain. We used to do these 're-balancing' your portfolio posts all the time. You would see people spending 5 bucks in this new token, 25 in BTC another 10 in ETH etc....The purpose was to diversify your holdings.
With all the hype and hoopla with $LEO these days, I have seen plenty of posts talking about big buys into LSTR @leostrategy and now today, the brand new SURGE token. But I was thinking, what about the rest of us....
Let's say I was brand new into this stuff, and wanted to get my feet wet into the $LEO eco system, where would I spend my precious limited resources? I'm not flush with fiat or crypto for that matter, so here's what I (might) do if I was brand new, knowing everything I do about these tokens within $LEO
Obviously this is just an example, there is no way anything I say should be taken as 'solid advice'. This is just what I would do to dip my toes in the water...
1. $30 In @leostrategy (LSTR)
I do believe each token within the eco system has massive potential to grow. However what is being built in LSTR is completely unique in this space. Well, not unique overall because this model is literally taking what MicroStrategy does with BTC but uses LEO instead. This is the financial engine of the entire eco system and so many things will come from it.
Right now, the only way to 'profit' is to sell when the price reaches more than you paid. But I think that's not looking at the big picture. Today for example LSTR launched SURGE and yesterday it released @lstr.voter
2 huge projects in about 24 hours. And the 'fly wheel' of $LEO is really starting to take shape. You can get your feet wet with LSTR and start building your engine with this.
2. $40 In SURGE
So this is the new kid on the block today and for an overview of the project, be sure to check out the official release here. And there is a LOT of financial jargon and words that this guy might not understand. Here's the simplest way I can describe SURGE...
This is the $HBD equivalent for $LEO but there's a catch. Right now, you are essentially buying it at 90 cents, not the soft peg of $1 as described in the official post. So right from the jump, you are up 10%. And when all the math is said and done, this is your 'stable-ish' token and it will return 16.7% APR
While both LSTR and LEO may go up and down, this will be your 'safe place'.
3. $30 Worth of $LEO
Yeah LEO is the 'sexy' coin overall, and it's the true fuel that we may be all after. However I see this as a big...Fly wheel. Which means everything feeds off each other in almost perfect harmony. Heck it may all go to 0....I don't know...But I've been in $LEO pretty much since day one and I completely trust the vision of this project.
The community, it's leaders, the platform....Everything about it is awesome!
So while we may never see 1 cent $LEO ever again, I still want as much as I can get. 20 cents, 3 bucks, 30 bucks...Who knows where this will go. I just know I want to be a part of it!
So again, this isn't meant to be the 'sure fire to get rich' blog post so many new people may be looking for. This is just how you get your feet wet and exposed to every project in the eco system. Because then you can...
Delegate to @lstr.voter for daily returns
Use the 'vote' prompt within LSTR/InLEO
Add to the LSTR:LEO liquidity pool on TribalDex
And so much more!
Just because we all don't have endless funds, doesn't mean we should miss out on the $LEO revolution!
(Note: As always I send 5% to both @leofinance and @leostrategy for beneficiary rewards. I'm also sending 5% to @wiseagent who is another awesome member of the LEO community!)
Posted Using INLEO
I followed up on my own promise, I just got more committed to the leofinance community because of your post, thanks.
This guide is good enough handy for anyone wanting to explore the $LEO world ;)
I'ma take this financial advice of yours seriously.
Just need some time to get some stables till then hope these coins won't be up much lol.
I don't understand the other tokens that much so I stick to one. Anyone of those is a winner by the way 😀
Wow, the distribution is really cool, suitable for those who want to enter the LEO ecosystem but have limited capital 👍 The explanation is also easy to understand, especially about SURGE which is currently hot. A strategy like this means that all lines in the LEO ecosystem can benefit from it 🚀🔥
Good diversification. I'm now buying SURGE.
SURGE? ooh!
The 16.7% APR looks promising for a safer option while still being part of the $LEO ecosystem which is good. This is definitely worth considering for newcomers
Thanks for the breakdown. Me being entirely new to the space would (and kinda did) go with a different allocation, and here's my reasoning:

Such a nice plan you have. It seems to be quite scalable. All the opportunities are on the table, we just have to choose the ones that are best for us.
