The Future of Crypto: What Will Cryptocurrency Look Like in the Next 5–10 Years? - Indianunited Contest

I don't know what crypto will look like in the next 5-10 years, but I have seen the little of what he has done in the past 5 years. As time goes on, everything will become quiet. Crypto will later become less valuable to ordinary people.

Why? It is more deeply embedded in the system that are using it already. As time goes on, people will start using blockchain technology and they might not even realize that that is what they are using. Think of it this way.

Not everybody wakes up and thinks of DNS, server, data packets and they simply open an app and use it. Nobody even cares about all those technical jargons. All what they want is to come to a website and a platform, do what they want to do and get out.

Nobody cares about server, but everybody is on Facebook, on YouTube and so many more. Whereas their backend is where the entire work is. The same thing goes with WordPress too.

So if we bring this ideology to crypto, it will become a time that it will power a lot of financial institutions but many people doesn't even care or know what it is to the point that they will not even be aware of it in any way. Crypto was complicated in years past, but if we are going to look at all those ones, it is not going to be complicated anymore. It is going to become another thing entirely.

Crypto will be part of our life and you don't even need to teach it differently. It will have already been embedded in so many things that we are using every day to the point that it will not be a big grammar anymore. It will be the new IP address, something like that.

Though these days, crypto is more intimidating because of the terminologies of wallet address, seed phrase, gas fee, which are sometimes very high, network, bridges and private key. For someone who is not technologically inclined, all these jargons are hard to keep. But let's imagine that someone simplified crypto to the point that you don't need all these things I've stated above and just need to create your account and it becomes part of your computer and you can send money anywhere around the world with it.

That is the beauty of what crypto will become in years to come. Fully embedded and integrated into everyday life to the point that it has no ambiguity all around it. Also, I believe that stablecoin will become more important than speculative coin.

The cryptocurrency world has been associated more with volatility than any other business you can ever think about. People don't want their money jumping up and down. They want stability.

Nobody wants to lose 20% of his money in just one night. People now want accessibility and predictable value. And that is the bliss of stablecoin.

So that is why people buy all these USDT, Tether, Tron and the likes. Just imagine receiving payment and at the other end, the value remains the same. Also, as AI is coming to play and crypto will become interesting together, I think the intersection of AI and crypto is going to bring one of the best new ways at which we are going to see things.

Because if your AI can own a wallet, make payments, purchase digital services and interact with others, automated services, in no time we are going to see an AI that is integrated into the blockchain to the point that it can do a lot of things, save files and keep everything in check. Regulation will also be a thing. Why do I say that? As more integration of AI and blockchain comes to play and as we have more cryptocurrency projects that are integrated into everyday life, there will be need for regulation so that people don't go overboard or do something scary or dark.

Nobody is going to like regulation but it will be needed in years to come. So if anyone wants to position themselves, that would be very good. There are so many exchanges that are closing down every month.

I believe decentralized finance will evolve considerably too. Though, decentralized finance requires you to know what wallet, protocol, liquidity, pools, network and smart contract is, as that complexity gets to become negligible with time. You might not even know you are using decentralized finance or you just know that everything is going on smoothly at your front end.

The question is, will blockchain replace everything? In time to come, blockchain is going to replace a lot of things but banks will still exist and governments will have to adapt and they will not crumble because of blockchain. Payment companies are going to adapt to this too and they are going to make sure that it works. Crypto companies will also adapt but the future is going to be great.

We are still early enough when it comes to assessing and using the blockchain and I believe 10 years from now, when our children start to grow up, there is a lot that they will learn and there is a lot that they will be accustomed with. Just the same way that we have android users generation and many of our children are getting to be acquainted with it. Who knows, maybe in the next 5 to 10 generations, it will be the blockchain and AI that the generation will be using consistently and they will do perfectly well and that will be the most awesome thing anyone can ever think about.
