A good purchase for the home and it is great to be able to buy yourselves something you really need. I stopped buying appliances 2 years ago as the constant power cuts kept on breaking the appliances so I just rent mine and let them worry about repairs and replacements. We don't have those power cuts due to solar now, but it is still convenient to keep on renting for now.

I would probably feel differently if we had the power issues that you do there. The units we had before this came with the house when we bought it over a decade ago. These ones will likely stay with the house when we sell it. In fact, a lot of people usually write that into the purchase agreement.
