Day 2918 | Huana Market, Rooftop Bar & First Durian

Thursday was a day after a long night as there was the world cup football so I stayed in bed very long. The evening was pretty great though as I ended up going to I think the last market I have not visited yet here in the local Huana Market not far from the Sky Rooftop bar and Tamarind food market.
I went there along with my girlfriend for another adventure. It wasn't the biggest market but one of the most local where there were no tourists at all. It's also one where there were a couple not so clean settings with meat laying there openly and some flies on it. I did buy some Durian to try and also some Pomelo which is another fruit I still needed to test.

Afterward on our way to Tamarind market, we took a stop at the sky rooftop bar for a spectacular view and some mocktails. That gave a views also on the market we just went to.

Once it was dark, we headed to the Tamarind market to get something to eat there.

It was around 20:10 before we were done there and headed back to my condo where I went for a quick swim also hopping into the sauna for 20 minutes. Once my girlfriend was gone, I tried the durian but I don't get the fuss around it honestly. It's not that I hated it but it's not something I would eat for pleasure and after trying 2 small pieces, I did not continue. I did eat most of the pomelo but the pink salt/sugar mixture that came with it was needed for me to really enjoy it somewhat and it's not something I quickly would buy again unlike the mangosteen.

Next Day Goals: We have a trip planned during the weekend to Sam Roi Yot which I'm highly looking forward to and we should leave to there around 18:30 or so. Friday will be about getting ready for it mostly. Next post might also be not until Sunday evening to bring the report on those days.
I have fear on heights. But the view on the rooftop is indeed spectacular. 😍
