It's serious, folks. I have to get a post out. It's of the utmost importance. If I don't, countries could fall, seas could dry up and the forests turn to ash!
I struggled coming up with something to post about before I wrap up my lunch hour. There's heavy irony in being stressed about not having a post ready to go before I head back to work. I post because I enjoy it; not because I won't meet some quota or get some author rewards.

That'll have to wait. It's performance review season at work. I'm following up with my team about call reviews, time cards and disciplinary letters. The not-so-exciting things that pay the bills.
It's okay to not post. It's okay to not do it daily. Hive will still be here. Someone else will post and make up for it. Or maybe they won't. In the end it'll all work out, and there's no point in stressing about what to write about just for the sake of posting.

I never liked that feeling of "having" to post something. It's part of what made me take a step back from posting every day.
Yeah, I'm of the same mindset. I'm okay with every other day or even every few days, so I'm posting something worthwhile.

If I don't post on Hive I get stressed, but it's not because of the rewards because I'm not well rewarded; it's a habit that's part of me.
It's not bad to have habits. If it helps you relieve stress or anxiety, then it's worth it.
