1982 1/2oz Silver Proof George Washington 250th Anniversary Raffle Prize

We're getting closer to the start of the silver/gold raffle, but before we start I have another prize to showcase! This one is a proof, which means it has a mirror finish for the background and frosted foreground details. These coins are more sought after than regular coins because of their beauty.

While this coin is a proof, it's actually 90% silver. That means even though this is a 1/2oz coin, it contains closer to 0.36 ounces of pure silver. This coin is still produced, so it's not low mintage, but it's still a beautiful coin!
