I always loved the Little League World Series. So exciting to see kids get to play on the main stage and it's always a trip down memory lane for me. When I was that age I remember talking to one of my friends and we were thinking if we won the tournament that we would keep progressing and potentially make it to the Little League World Series. Then one of the dads informed us that we were in a "B" tournament and that if we won we wouldn't go on. I was really upset by that.

Ah yeah, it's crazy just how good those kids are who are playing at that level. I mean totally insane. You probably made it farther later in life than that dad would have guessed though!
For sure. I was on a somewhat slow progression with a lot of things. If I wouldn't have switched to Track & Field I would have never been able to let pure results speak for themselves and if I would have never learned to train like that I would have never became as good at baseball because I wouldn't have developed that amount of power.
