RE: Eight Years in Remission

That's crazy about the diagnosis from 8 years ago. I'm always freaked out about getting Testicular cancer. I freak myself out regularly about that and also freak myself out about the potential of an Achilles tendon tear. I'm glad you haven't had any reassurance.

I heard about the Claims App but haven't downloaded it yet but supposedly that can allow you to fill out a bunch of Class action related stuff.

I would say on the Facebook and the Amazon Prime one I can justify my little payment to put a bit of nourishment in my belly. I specifically remember not being able to cancel Amazon Prime and it kept charging one of my credit cards. A lot of companies operate like that. The worst ones I have experience are LA Fitness and Golds Gym. They try to make it impossible to cancel.

My buddy got really sick a while ago and was pretty much on his death bed. His wife tried to cancel his Planet Fitness membership and it was basically impossible without a death certificate. He survived and is actually using his membership again now, but it shouldn't have been that hard. I've gotten a few settlements from class action stuff in the past, but none of it has ever been very big.

When I think back about the time I spent not doing anything about my enlarged teste because I was embarrassed to mention it to my doctor who is a female, I have to kick myself. Guys need to check themselves often and if anything looks or feels weird, don't be ashamed or afraid to mention it. Better safe than sorry! My ball had like a 7mm tumor on it. It's honestly not that bad without it. Makes squeezing into those dang airplane seats a lot easier!

It's scary and a guy I play baseball with had a similar experience. Everything happened fast and they removed it.
