So It Begins

As I mentioned last week, the NFL preseason has officially begun. If you get a chance, the preseason is actually a really fun time to go see an NFL game live. They usually aren't anywhere near sold out, and you get to see some of the up and coming players laying it all out on the field to try and earn a spot in the roster. This it the time of year that those hidden gems start to become apparent for your fantasy football team. You might write a name down or keep them on your radar so you can come back to them later in the season when you star gets hurt or they start to pop off.

As I mentioned already, the Lions lost last Thursday against the Bengals 16 to 14. The Packers also lost to the Steelers 28 to 9. The Colts tied with the Patriots 13 to 13, and Arizona Beat the Raiders 27 to 14.

The Chargers beat Houston 27 to 7, Tennessee took down San Francisco 19 to 13, and Denver beat Atlanta 27 to 7.

Tampa Bay beat the Jets 24 to 16, Washington took down Miami 20 to 7, and Buffalo rolled over Carolina 29 to 14.

Cleveland got hammered by Chicago 34 to 10, and Minnesota squeaked out a win past the Giants 13 to 10.

Finally, the Rams beat the Chiefs 20 to 12, Jacksonville beat New Orleans 24 to 20, and the last two games were Baltimore over Philly 24 to 7, and 17 to 7 Dallas over Seattle.

It will be interesting to see where things go from here. Obviously, I want the Lions to do well, but it could be a bit of a rebuilding year for them.

Exacto, eso es clave. Además, deportes es de esos temas donde todos opinan pero pocos traen algo como lo que planteás.

The thing I like about preseason is that teams usually will try things that aren't so safe. For me, it's exploring the possibility of not using their absolutely overpaid and I think, terrible, QB in Bryce Young

Ha ha, that is a fair assessment. You know they are going to stick with the money though!

one of the main tenets of business in a general sense is to never consider sunk costs. I think he is a dead end. He's has several seasons to show some greatness and it just isn't happening. The thing is I don't think he is valuable to any other team either so they won't get hardly nothin' by getting rid of him on a trade.

I think that has been the case with a lot of teams/players over the years. It's not like they don't make enough money they couldn't just cut their losses. Raise ticket prices $5 next season and they are flush again...
